if all he wants to do is fight one of the worst guys in MMA, how has Rahman "MOVED" to MMA?
He's changed management 'MMA' and set his sights on Kimbo Slice

He won't do that fighting Kimbo Slice.
But he could do quite well if he spends some time picking up the ground game.

Hasim will be hopless, i have no doubt that he will take time out of his lift to learn grappling, BJJ, wrestling, and submissions skills.
He will believe that his standup is good enough .....whilst is true to some degree will still not prevent many opponents in MMA trying to take him down.
His last fight against Vlad showed us all that not only is he way past it physically (soft, overweight, lacked sharness, conditioning) but that he is mentally shot aswell. He is mearly fighting for the paydays and nothing more...no pride or ego in wanting to be the best.
If Vladimir himself were more confident in his chin, he could have and should have finished him in round 3.

he is strong physically so he will have a chance in the clinch or to defend a takedown

Its pointless for us to take him seriously.
Strong yes....but technique is needed aswell......we all know its for paydays.
He was down to 224 for Holyfield......so this tells us that his actuall muscle weight with a below 12 per cent bf is this and without excess water weight.
He continues to fight 25 pounds above his fighting weight........makes a mockery of the sport.

He's gonna get smashed up. I'll never know why boxers think they could succeed in MMA. If the fight goes to the ground they're fucked.

I never cared for heavies, so i could care less about rahman.

I agree. If he does fight MMA or Slice he will be a nonfactor and get stopped quicky as Mercer did, meaning continued embarrassment for boxing. Rahman would not be flexible enough to compete in MMA. If he could hit his opponent he could when by KO and his opponent would know that. He would have to go into the fight with a street ffight mentality and he simply would not do that.

Because you know they only do it becuase Boxing no longer needs them, as harsh as it may seem.

Basically. Hasim is pretty much done as a serious contender. I like Rock, but his Lennox Lewis one punch ko train is over

I'd like to see him fight Kimbo in K1 rules. I see Kimbo winning via RNC or Guillotine.

In the end of the day.........Hasim will not take boxing seriously so why would he take MMA seriously?
Its not that boxing is being exposed.......just the individual........he is way past it and if Vlad had more killer instinct he would have flatten quick but chose a saftey first approach.
If we are talking a 20 yrd old Hasim then.......yeah great addition.....as he will take time to learn boxing, and ground game........but this isnt the the case.......he is just a name.

He would be awful. He is too out of shape to pose any sort of real threat. He will get taken down quickly.

FFS. The man needs to retire. He'll be an embarrasment to both sports. Only he will probably get KTFO that much worse in MMA.

With his Glass Jaw MMA is where he belongs. He will fit in just fine.

Rahman, I think if matched perfectly, could get up in the ranks. Just as long as he's moved away from wrestlers/submission artists and kickboxers....have him fight guys like Tank Abbott, Kimbo Slice, and he'll be fine, and in due time, be primed for a title shot, only to get destroyed lol

He's not taking MMA seriously and is just going to go in there and make a fool of himself and the sport of boxing.

I think a major problem is fighters from 185 upwards train hard in MMA. All the top fighters are in shape. In boxing the cruisers and heavies generally don't train. This is the general feeling I get. Probably goes back to the hunger i.e. many contenders in boxing are probably millionaires or at least hundred thousandAIRES.
