A wee change from the usual all time lists, who have been the ten best boxers since you were born? I was born in 89 (hence the name), so my 10 would probably be:
1. Pernell Whitaker
2. Roy Jones Jr
3. Floyd Mayweather Jr
4. Bernard Hopkins
5. Tito Trinidad
6. Manny
7. Lennox Lewis
8. Barrera
9. Morales
10. Calzaghe
Guys like SRL were still fighting when i was born but were way past their best and therefore i can't include him.

Fuck sake Stone Rose, you were only born 13 years before me yet your list shit's all over mine.
Why couldn't the fab 4 have been around in the 90's instead of the stupid fucking 80's!

Exactly 20. If we're only counting fighters who have been active since after I was born, I'd have to take a couple names off. I guess I'll go ahead and remove Whitaker, Chavez, Holyfield and Tyson.

You can almost tell how old people are from their lists without them saying their age. If Mayweather is in there they are young, if Leonard and Hearns are in there they are in their 40s- etc. Shows you how subjective boxing is. I still think the Leonard/Hearns era is much better and more exciting than the Delahoya/Mayweather era.

i was close but you could still keep whittaker, chavez, tyson, holyfield because they did fight after 1989 but the bulk was after 89 execpt holyfeild who arugably achieved more after 89

I could, but I don't want to. I just added in Marquez and Hopkins and De La Hoya. They've all only been active after I was born. I think it works better this way.
