No, I'm really looking forward to it as well. Diaz is hard to go past because of his offensive output. I really don't know how it's going to play out. I think JMM is the greater fighter, but he's getting on these days. Bring it on...

Marquez to win a fairly close points win imo. I don't see a stoppage in this fight.

Sick. A highlight reel with a song ripped off a rocky montage. How new and different. What will they think of next??

My head says Marquez and my heart says Diaz.

Diaz is a great fighter to watch.... I hope he just jumps all over him. This will be absolutely fantastic.

The more I think about it, the more I lean to Diaz. JMM is a notoriously slow starter and I think Diaz will win the first 3 rounds right off the bat. JMM will get his way back into the fight until Diaz closes it down the stretch to win on points with a higher work rate. Juan is the naturally bigger guy and he's in his prime right now. I see it about 8 rounds to 4.

Cant wait for this one, been looking forward to it for ages.

I'm thinking Marquez will win by decision. He seems to be the better boxer but if Diaz can get inside then it could be a different outcome.

I'm a big JMM fan. I think he will scrape through with a close decision. Come on Marquez!

Marquez is a much better pure boxer but Diaz will be way to strong and win a wide UD in an absolute barn burner.

Im sticking with my initial thoughts that Diaz can penetrate the JMM jab and use his strength and size inside more effectively. JMM is slowing gradually as well which I also factored. Been excited about this fight since it was announced.

Diaz on points

Juan Diaz is a good young fighter however he usually fights on the inside, Marquez is a masterful boxer and can handle pressure due to his experiences with pacman. I see a knockout win for JMM.

jmm for me too. too sharpe for diaz who will walk into some bombs.

i agree leon, he did beat pacman and i lost money due to it

Its a great fight , YOUNG VS OLD. both mexicans. there should be more fights like this...hats off to both of them.

Marquez is the better fighter in all departments. I like diaz, great offensive fighter but his lack of defense at times will bring him undone in rounds. Marquez to win a close UD.

To be honest Pac and Diaz aren't that similar. Once Diaz works inside he likes to stay there Pac applies pressure but moves in and out. Perfect in a way for the counterpunching style of JMM.

JMM on points like 116-112...put a small wager on a very late KO just coz the odds were so good.

This highlight clip against Katsidis shows part of why Diaz is one of my favourite fighters in boxing right now. Not neccessarily a top p4p fighter, but still a great young talent, with heaps of potential, and a really exciting style.

I love the way he moves on the inside. Watch him turn Katsidis all the time, then unload those lightening combinations. His handspeed is VERY under rated IMO. In all honesty, i find it very hard to imagine Marquez matching it with Diaz from this position.

The closer the fight gets the more I sit on the fence......Marquez looks great at the weigh in while Diaz looks a bit soft......I may reserve my right to change my boxing tips leading upto the fight.....problem is I have change my pix about 4 times before a fight and lost every time :huh

I was just about to say Ash.. Marquez looks in great shape in those weigh in photos. Diaz normally looks a bit soft though doesn't he? Kind of reminds me of Briggs, never seemed look that cut but then again this aint a body building comp! Come on JMM :happy

Marquez, though you can also see Diaz taking it in a close one. Struggling with a call on this one. Should be a good fight.

Yeah not a BB contest but u would thnk he would have a bit more shape......i mean you need 2 train hard to go 12......and you should see the results.

The best thing about the fight is we are split on the result...half of us Diaz the other JMM....I may change my pix 2 or 3 times before the fight :rofl

JMM !

I cant believe I just got $1.60 at sportsbet for the win. This is money for nothing. He is bigger , stronger , and more skillfull.

Also Chris John to punch holes through Juarez !!

Great card coming up !!

I've changed my mind about 100 times who i think will win this but at the time of this post i think Diaz in a very tight points decision. In 5 minutes time i'll probably think Marquez will win.

Good to see a decent undercard fight too.

I had the safer bet of win for JMM & then threw a few bucks for the KO and under 10.5 rnds, very happy. Pity I didn't do that with the tipping comp. . .
