I'd have to say if jermaine is finished at 160 and loses to kelly, then
arthur abraham might be the best middleweight in the world. Ive spent the last half hour viewing and studying AA's fights, and while he employs a constant peekaboo defense he is explosive and quick on
the return attack. This is where he will be effective against kelly. Pavlik
is much slower and predictable than AA. Abraham punches nearly as hard if not as hard as pavlik, but with better angles and surprise. Pavlik
would be able to stand up to AA's punches, but may be outpunched in
the powerpunching stats. And if the fight is in the U.S. you know the judges will like the more effective aggression of AA. Pavlik still has to
become the undisputed middleweight champ on the 29th which I'm thinking he'll do(not a lock for sure), but if his first defense is against
AA, my feeling is that he will be the shortest reigning middleweight
champion of all time. And this opinion is coming from an american.

I respectfully disagree. I think Pavlik's size, workrate, and own power would be too much for Arthur Abraham to overcome. Pavlik UD or late TKO

Your opinion is welcome brooklyn as ou are always objective and knowledgeable. But, go to youtube and watch miranda/pavlik and then
AA/demers like I did and look at the quickness and powerful salvos that
AA throws, and observe the predictable slow shots pavlik throws. Yes, I
thought about the workrate of pavlik versus the particular spurts by AA. But the main factor in scoring a fight is EFFECTIVE agggression. I'm afraid pavlik might be landing alot of his workrate on AA's gloves. My
prediction is still AA UD.

It's tough to argue with your analysis - you bring up good points
If Pavlik beats Taylor (Which I think he will), Pavlik/Abraham could be in the cards for early 2008 on HBO - in which we will find out for sure who the best middleweight is:good

This fight coming up for Kelly can be the stepping stone to many great things!

Not like I think Pavlik isn't a good fighter I just think that stylewise he is good for Taylor. By the way I am far from 100% confident but I'm calling Taylor by UD now.

Pavlik's lucky that Pantera was so weight drained or else he would've been another casualty of Miranda.

Taylor > Pavlik
Pavlik > Abraham
Abraham > Talylor
Winky > Taylor, Pavlik, Abraham
At this point in his career, winky should stay at 160 and call out the winner of this 3 way win b/n AA, taylor, and pavlik. All money fights.

A big effective hard hitting pressure guy is good for Taylor?
Didn't see the Ouma and Wright fights I suppose, where pressure is what gave him the most trouble.

Taylor > Pavlik
Pavlik > Abraham
Abraham > Talylor
Winky > Taylor, Pavlik, Abraham
I don't see Wright beating Abraham or Pavlik personally, they can walk him down, this is coming from an appreciative longtime admirer of Winky Wright also.
