vargas vs ross the boss

anybody remember this slugfest? .. ross comming in at 170 ... a young fresh face not ready for prime time vargas absorbing huge blows from a much bigger man and at such a young age what was he 19? ... the boy was just so mentally advanced for his age it was crazy .. granted tyson did great things ..vargas was waay more put together mentally in the beginning considering the compeititon he was faceing and i just don't see tyson going to war with a heavyweight version of a fighter like trinidad for the time vargas did neither...

vargas had so much heart it was crazy! .. and i believe the thompson fight showed it alot .. the way he dusted him off added to it too

i remember that fight,before the fight Thompson talked a lot of trash about Vargas and they even had a physical prefight confrontation. the fight was pretty one sided with Vargas knocking Thompson down twice in the third and once again in the fourth,when Thompson got up Vargas went right after him and was hitting him at will when the ref stopped the fight.

btw after one of the knockdowns Vargas spit at Thompson,he was still mad cause of all the trash talking that Thompson did.
