Some fans are really starting to irritate me now, both Munroe's and Jeffries fans attempted to sing this last night, along with many others in the past, it should only be used for special people who have earn't it like Hatton and Phil Taylor, not for someone who hasn't even finished his 1st pro fight.

Nah the Jaffa and Munroe fans made the night great and added to a good atmosphere. I like the shouting and singing and do not mind what they sing or if they bring a drum like certain fans did yesterday.

If you want it to be only used for people who have earnt it then neither Hatton or Taylor should use the song. Taylor is in a minority sport and Hatton is just popular and not special.

said with mock slang type english sounding belly tone.

Try it yerself, its easy. Similar to scottish terrace songs always sounding southern central Scottish, regardless of your location in Scotland.

Nah actually, Hatton is special. What other fighter from the UK is taking on the best ? No starting an argument, just that, now you mention it, it got me thinking. Ok theres Haye but who else ?

That for me is special

Special dosent have to be perfect either

Yeh i love singing and noise and creating a good atmosphere is what makes a good night of boxing a great night, but this song, which is overused anyway, is starting to grate on the ears..it's not hard to think up of other songs to sing is it.

And on you're "ricky Hatton and Phil Talyor aren't special or haven't earnt it" statement, well that's you're opinion which most others would disagree with, Phil Taylor is as dominant as Tyson in his day and Ricky is a top guy, who isn't a bad boxer either.

yeh hes a great guy for boxing so is special

but i think the best fighters not the favourite fighters should get more praise

a casual fan

thinks Ivan Calderon is a new type of vegetable and ricky ahtton is the greatest fighter to ever live alongside Joe Calzaghe, look at the general forum for this in action

Well he has no right to have that song sung about him then, until he gets in that top ten.

Hatton is great no doubt about that but to say only he deserves songs is plain daft especially when these fighters have a good fanbase and are trying to encourage the fighter and have a laugh plus after the amount of beer the Mackams had drunk it was the only song they could remember the words too. I even had one bloke sit next to me and ask which fighter was which during the Munroe vs Martinez fight plus he had forgotton what town he was in and why exactly he was there.
