you're doing the sport a great disservice. I have yet to see this happen in other sports....go watch some sport where they display real heart....like bowling, darts or cricket...

Those guys who bowl leave thier heart and soul on those lanes everytime.

seriously, i deadass dont understand why we just cant embrace the fighters. and its not like these guys are even hating on bad fighters, there hating on elite guys like Mayweather, Cotto, Taylor etc... the ones who hate are FAKE FANS and thats it. There not real fans, there mainstream fans and its sad.

cricketers have huge heart - you try standing out in the sun for 5 days and staying motivated :fire

A further point.

Although I am no fan or defender of cricket I have respect for batsmen for having heart. Continually having balls slung their way at speeds of 90-100 mph takes some guts. Especially when they come back from broken arms, fingers, wrists etc due to being hit.

Other than that. Cricket is dire.

I think of many times where cricketers have batted on with broken jaws and noses from taking a cricket ball to the head.
Thats ticker if you ask me.

What a great everyman's game darts is, the very best players in the world who are professional players who routinely play in front of packed houses and on internationally televised T.V, are the fattest most unathletic tubs of lard you will ever see. Plus they get to smoke and drink beer why they are waiting for their shot.

i dont think i hate the fighters i talk about..i dislike them .. but i dont think it gets in the way of my judgement...

Its our priviledge as fightfans to like-dislike whoever we chose to..

You cant expect every fight fan to have nothing but positives to say about every fighter.

Im aware that it can be frustrating that most posters have never laced up a glove but yet they have the right to bag out a boxer(in most cases a champs)
ability,heart etc.But if it werent for the fans who pay their money to watch and show love/hate towards fighters they wouldnt be the household names they are,let alone earn millions of dollars to throw punches at another man for 36minutes.

Unfortunetly we live mostly in a world with freedom of speech so you will have to continue to hear in most cases ridiculous comments from people who pretty much have no right to comment on a elite sportsman's performance etc..

But until the day comes where sportsman can make their millions without ticket sales,ppv sales etc than the average joe blow will continue to have the right to say what they want.

Fans need topline sportsman for entertainment but maybe the elite sportsman need the paying public(fans)more..

Who knows?
