JMM won the vast majority.

Marquez won most of these but not enough to turn around the first round deficit.

Marquez should not have allowed to continue after the 1st round. In the succeeding rounds, Marquez may have scored some rounds but he did not dominate the fight.

He obviously could continue, so why should they have stopped it? He was fighting back, and went on to school Pac.

I have always scored it a close win for Marquez.

He was pretty much kicking Pac's ass right after that round and hurt him in the 9th round I believe........ but yea he shouldn't have continued.... I wouldn't want my hero getting beat up either...

the outtechniqued option applies to all scenarios. Marquez did show better technique after the first by slipping the straight left and countering with right hands.

Good stuff. Marquez won most of the rounds after the first. I had it a close points win for Marquez. Havent watched the fight in awhile so I dont remember my exact scorecard.

Turning around a 10-6 round JMM would have to win every round just about to win the fight and me personally didnt think he won every round in the fight.

i had Pacquiao winning by a point.

yep. i also had pac winning by a point, maybe two. that 10-6 round was a really big factor in deciding that fight.

I had the fight 114-113 Pacquiao and it has been stated that if the Judge Clements had of scored the first round a 10-6 round like everybody else did Manny would have won the fight.

I was happy with the draw but the judge who had it 115-110 for Marquez should be shot.

No one dominated, I think Marquez barely won, but can certainly see the other side.

Besides the 1st i gave JMM most of the rest of the fight. Thats from what i remember from then.

7-4 or 6-5 for JMM.

have seen the fight like 30 times. I had Pac pulling out that one. Except for the middle rounds which were dominated by Marquez, Pac did enough on the last 3 rounds to win the fight. The more frequent you'll see it, preferably with volumes down or off, the more you'll be convinced that Packy did enough to win. Marquez sheer will and courage though to survive and fight back, gets extra credits to the eyes of some, more to what he actually did and clouded many a perspective to what objectively happened in the fight.

The 2nd and 10th round could of went either way, otherwise I gave the rest to Marquez.

7-4 or 6-5 for JMM.

That means you still had Pacquiao winning because the first round was 10-6. For JMM to win he would need to win EIGHT of the last 11 rounds.

I thought Pacquiao pulled out 4 of the last 11 rounds, with the second and last rounds clear.

Anyone who thinks Marquez won the fight while claiming that he won Round 2 is just a pure hater. Because that was clear a round as could be for Pacquiao.

I thought Marquez won most of those rounds and I actually had it as a draw.

A hater for not sharing an opinion?

After the knockdowns he showed Pac to be nothing but raw speed and power.

this is how i scored the fight.

1. Pacman 10-6
2. Pacman 10-9
3. JMM 10-9
4. JMM 10-9
5. JMM 10-9

9. 10-10 each
10. Pacman 10-9
11. 10-10 each
12. Pacman 10-9

Pacquiao 114-113

also may i add that i have no problem with the fight being called a draw
or fans having it 1 point to JMM's way.

but i do have a problem big time with the judge that had it 115-110 JMM WTF.

JMM was down by 5 points after the second round, he sure gave Pac a schooling in what is boxing to close the wide gap.

pac should've had a point taken away from him after the 3rd knockdown.....he clearly hit jmm when he was coming back up......

Big myth was that Marquez won most of these rounds by a big margin when he clearly didnt.

Its very similiar to the Margarito/Williams fight when the crowd noise played a big factor.

With the sound on i gave Pacman 4 of the 11 rounds, with the sound off I gave Pacman 6 of the 11.

Its interesting that the same number of People see these rounds either as close
win for PAC or as that PAC was schooled by Marquez.
Is there possible to reasonably explain such difference?

Is there possible to reasonably explain such difference? That is intereting. i had pac winning by one round and JMM did do a number on Pac for most of the fight. But a schooling to me is a complete shut out and making the other fighter look amateurish (or the first round).

Marquez should not have allowed to continue after the 1st round.

Based on what?

If not for bigtime 9 you would be the biggest nutthugging moron on this forum. As it is your in a distant 2nd place.

i think there is quite a logical explanation.

pac looked like he was being schooled by jmm because he was getting caught everytime he goes comes in. pac tried a bazillion jab-straight combos in that fight, as i don't think he threw anything other than that. but he got countered by jmm most of the time so some people may see it as schooling, but then i think that those people who saw it as a schooling failed to see that as one dimensional as they may seem, some of those one-twos by pac tagged jmm multiple times from the 2nd to the 12th round, i think this is where the close rounds are being scored. they liked the fact that pac initiated the exchanges even thought jmm got the better of them most of the time.

I thought it was when i saw it 1st but when i watched it again with volume turn down i have PAc winning by a point.

Are you guys retarded??? The judge already admitted he made a mistake? Pac should have won...There was an immediate inquiry after this fight.

Lederman, Lampley, Merchant..Had it for PAC and they were there at ringside ...Stop being haters and admit the fact..

But who cares anyway next time it will be a demolition

That is true. The judge that had it a draw, scored round 1 10-7 to Pac:-(
