...in terms of the active fighters who have consistently gone for the toughest fight in and out of their weight class as much as possible (Joe Calzaghe fans need not apply). You will never accuse any of these fighters for ducking or being "carefully matched." Here's my list for the Top 10 P4P Ballsiest:
1. Mosley (from 135 all the way to 154 and back down to 147)
2. Morales (from 122 to recently 135)
3. Pacquiao (from 108 to 130, possibly 135 in the future)
4. Wright (from 154 all the way to 175)
5. Taylor (a murderer's row of a resume, even with recent criticism)
6. I. Vazquez (as of late, every big name from 118-122)
7. Judah (yes, he's lost all the big ones, but look at the resume as of late and you'll see he hasn't ducked anyone...Spinks twice for a tiny purse, Baldomir, and PBF. That's the 147 lineage of recent times...not to mention Cotto)
8. G. Johnson (The Road Warrior will fight anyone at 175 anytime, anyplace, anywhere)
9. Spinks (say what you want, but fighting Karmazin and Taylor after splitting a pair with Judah and taking on a prime Mayorga at 147 show that the slickster has cojones)
10. Ouma (some of his opponents that he has been matched up aren't viewer friendly, such as Karmazin...they also send top prospects like Powell at him...then he moves up to take on Taylor where he is badly undersized yet gives a good showing)
OTHERS: Castillo, Augustus, Arce (although his opponents at 112 weren't up to par, Mijares is proving he's Top 20 P4P quality...maybe a fight with Darchinyan will give him a boost)

Even tho he just retired Gatti ducked nobody, he must have known he had little to no chance against the likes of PBF and DLH but he went in there and gave it hes all, how people knock this guy is beyond me "Glorified clubfighter"??? thats fucking bullshit.
Even tho im not a fan why hasnt Holyfield been mentioned, that guy would have fought 3 guys at once.

solid list sweet pea pac, i'd probably rate my ballsiest fighters list some what like that. but i'd probably take out johnson and put mayorga in for mine.

I agree with both of you. I would insert either Holyfield or Mayorga and drop Ouma into the OTHERS pile.

Peter Buckley. 286 fights and has fought literally anyone that wanted to put on a pair of gloves and get in the ring with him. Would probably fight any of the heavyweight title holders this weekend if they were up for it.

I think Hopkins should be there somewhere.
Gatti should be there above Taylor and Judah.

Edison Miranda only fought at 160 but the man has got balls.

Let me add Casamayor to the list. I didn't include Gatti because he's retired.

Gatti is number 1
since he's retired then Pacman

Get ready to add Katsidis in there soon!!!
What about Lovemore Ndou? The guy took on a prime Sharmbe Mitchell, Miguel Cotto, Junior Witter and now Paulie Malignaggi in his FIRST title defence. Not bad opposition. Especially when you consider that most of these guys were at very short notice.

N'Dou has a good resume too.

N'Dou has a good resume too.
Their are tons of ballsy fighters....some carry larger sacks than others but all have a legit amount of juice.
Check out the up coming bouts for instance...
Palvik v Taylor
Mosely v Cotto
All four of these guys don't back down for shit. I would put Cal v Kess but those two have yet to face real adversity though after seeing Calzaghe go through a tough bout against Bika I'm sure his gonans are hard as rocks too, the Viking seems like a tough load too so lets get in on!

Anyone can do what Glen Johson does, fight and lose to actual good fighters like Hopkins and Ottke for large amounts of money (this is basically what he is praised for) -fullstop- Not many could do what Calzaghe does though, that actually requires talent -fullstop-

Money-grabbing journeymen? Regardless of the purse, these men still got in the ring. Too bad I can't say the same for your boy Calzaghe, who is the biggest money grabber of all, taking a joke of a fight (Exhibit A: Manfredo) three times a year (Exhibit B: Evans Ashira) while getting paid big sums to sit on his ass in the UK (Exhibit C: Kabary Salem), far from danger.
Although to his credit for ONCE, he's taking on the toughest fight available in Kessler. Too bad it took him 235 defenses to do it.

Also, this is isn't Talented Fighters P4P, this is BALLSIEST FIGHTERS P4P.
And what's OAP?

Evans Ashira, Mitchell, Lacy, Kessler etc should all be on your list for being suicidal morons and daring to fight Joe Calzaghe -fullstop-

And what's OAP?It is Calzaghe combination of talent and balls is what seperates Calzaghe from the rest -fullstop- Balls isn't getting a big payday to lose -fullstop- Balls is destroying your opponents and being knocked down only to destroy your opponent seconds later -fullstop- Balls are not failure -fullstop- Balls are Mayweather, Mosley, Pacman and Calzaghe -fullstop-

Joe Cal is God -fullstop-
:pNot really -fullstop- But he and Mayweather have more balls than Arturo Gatti -fullstop- They had the guts to learn how to box and not look for an easy way out KO or be KOed -fullstop-

Johnson also has some good wins.
Calzaghe is abused in this thread, but how do you remedy that by denegrating Johnson?

That logic is quite strange :huh
Some fighters are limited in their ability some are emotional charged and tend to fall off their practiced blue print. I don't see how this ties anyway near their "balls"
Though you could be busting my balls creating a rise out of me, which I appreciate if you where here to finish the job and not leave me blue....I can't quite get a read on you China, you must be a hell of a Poker player to nutty fucker you.

The ballsiest fighter bar none is Chris Byrd. Here is a man who fought in the amateurs as a middleweight. He fought his entire career at heavyweight without a punch.
Roy Jones went from starting at middleweight to heavyweight FOR 1 FIGHT, and everyone was lauding him as the greatest of all time for doing it. Yet, Chris Byrd has done it his entire career and nobody says jack about it.
Imagine fighting guys that weigh anywhere from between 50 and 100 pounds more than the weight you should be fighting at FOR YOUR ENTIRE CAREER.
THAT'S BALLS!!!!
I think De La Hoya and Trinidad have fought everyone the could have.
aramini

I agree with Chris Byrd and I would include Barrera: Hamed, Junior Jones twice, Morales the third time after he unified, Marquez, McKinney, Juarez twice, Tapia, Ayalah, and taking a rematch with Pac.
