its 1-1 in the 80th min

Atletico are the ones who are pressing a lot, Almeria tho is doing a lot of time wasting with the ball(Keeper, defenders etc...) Almeria seem to be happy with this result, so I think it should stay 1-1....10 more mins left

International Rugby Union Autumn Internationals start next weekend.

Wales vs Australia - No odds as yet but save Australia for your accumulators. Wales have lost a lot of players through injury and Australia are battle hardened. Australia by 10

Engalnd vs New Zealand - England will keep it tight for a while but these new laws play right into NZ hands. Having practised in the Tri Nations a lot with them and this being England's first game with them, expect a fairly comfortable NZ win pulling away in the last 20 mins. NZ by 12

Ireland vs South Africa - South Africa are struggling a bit of late. Expect these guys to both be about evens. Tough one to call but Ireland are consistant at home and South Africa are a little unsettled. Ireland by 5

The only one I'm not convinced by is Ireland beating South Africa.

I'd expect the Aussies to beat Wales, especially if they drop the massively overrated Giteau and stick with the lad they brought on to replace him on Saturday.

The All Blacks should beat England, but again, you can never be sure whether England will rise to the occasion and play to their potential or retreat into their really bad AIDS infected play, with forwards making loads of those pointless pick and goes, missing tackles and kicking possession away non-stop.

KONYASPOR vs TRABZONSPOR DATE:01/11/2010 19:00

Betting on: Trabzonspor to win

Trabzonspor is looking forward to take 4th consecutive against Konyaspor.

Trabzon started to rise with Beşiktaş victory and continuing its good form. Striker Teofilo had left the team in midweek, but fellow strikers Jaja and Umut Bulut proved that they can overcome by showing great performances in last games.

On the other hand, defensive part of the team is getting better as well and conceeded only one goal in four games. Manager Şenol Güneş directed crisis smartly and team reacted well with this comeback.

Konyaspor lost against Bucaspor in cup game and missed to qualify for joining to group stage. Besides, striker Montano was sent off and will be absent on Monday.

Generally, coach Ziya Doğan is known by playing tough, disciplined and stand in 90 minutes in his teams however, i couldn't see any of these in Konyaspo this year. They were terrible to Fenerbahçe 2 weeks ago and which can replay against Trabzonspor. Since, Trabzon's attacking style is similar to Fenerbahçe which depends on wings.

There is a sharp difference between two teams and it could be better to take Trabzon as earlier as possible due to the probability of lower odds in match day.

If WBA score first, say toward the end of the first half, I'd reckon they'd be 1/2, maybe less.

It's on Sky anyway so you can sort of get a feel for how it's going...... some weeks you win and some you lose when it comes to laying, this week I've laid the draws off twice in the last ten minutes and there's been a late winner, other times I've chickened out and cost myself profit..... but at least you don't lose :hey

Blackpool vs West Brom: Under 2.5

It's simple for me take unders at a big price. Bookies are licking their lips if you've been reading this and all the other forums today. It seems every joe punter is going in big on a goal fest tonight. Just when stats, recent form, pretty much everything points to goals galore tonight, you just know something very different is going to happen to seize punters hard earned cash.

The logic behind this may sound frivolous at best. But I have seen situations like this develop time and again, when a particular outcome looked so certain that every punter I knew was piling into it. Only to see the bet crash and burn and bookies partying wildly into the night with our money.

Nothing else matters here. I'm siding with the bookies.

RUBIN KAZAN vs PANATHINAIKOS

Betting on: under 2.5 goals

Russian champion Rubin Kasan lost their opening match away to Kopenhagen 0-1 and than managed two draws against Barcelona (1-1) and away to Panathinaikos (0-0).
With two points they need a win to get their chances alive to rech the knock out stage and overcame second placed Kopenhagen, who already have six points.

Panathinaikos lost their other two matches against Kopenhagen (0-2) and Barca (1-5) and with only one point they only have slim chances to reach the second round and if they loose this match third place would also be out of reach.

It is unlikely to be a goal-fest if previous form is to be factored into play.
Kasan managed only 5 overs in 26 league matches and they conceded only 4 goals in 13 matches at home. :happy

Any thoughts for tonights champions league?

Both Spurs and Inter are 17/10.

Looks like RVDV will be fit for Spurs which is a bonus for them. Milito is back but Ceasar and Cambiasso might both be out. I think that Spurs could get turned over tonight as Inter are just a better team (I am a Goon, so I could be biased) Concerned about the home field advantage though.

Also, Manchester United are 3/4 away at Bursaspor. I will be honest, I know fuck all about Bursaspor but United seem good value.

Trying to build a nice pot for the weekend so a good value bet is needed.

I've gone for a low stake 5 fold:

Rubin Kazan V Panathinaikos - Russians are a very strong team at home and the Greeks typically don't travel well.
Man Utd V Bursaspor under 2.5 goals - Tight game last time around and I'm still not convinced by Man U at the minute. A lot of young players in attacking areas who could struggle in a hostile environment in Europe
Copenhagen V Barcelona - Copenhagen aren't a bad team but Barca are coming off a big win and should be able to break them down at some point.
Valencia V Rangers - Simply believe Valencia will have too much class, although recent form is a slight concern (but then again Rangers drew with ICT last time out )
Auxerre V Ajax - Auxerre play lovely football when they are on song and they've picked up 3 wins in their last 3 games since losing in Holland 2-1. Could be close again but at 8/5 represents good value imo.

Somewhere in the region of 12.5/1

Bursaspor have been really bad. Their best result has been at Old Trafford and that was more to do with Man Utd playing shit than them doing anything particularly good imo. Man Utd seem to be getting back into decent form so I'm going for them.

Like the look of overs and both teams to score in the Spurs - Inter game, perhaps even a small bet on a Spurs win as well. They were battered for 20 mins at the San Siro but the second half would've given them confidence and with a loud home crowd you never know.

Schalke at evens look a good price but they have been playing bad lately and the trip might be a bit much for them.

I was thinking 5 fold -

Rubin - 8/13
Valencia - 2/5 (-1 goes to 11/10 but they have been lacking lately)
Barcelona - 2/5
Schalke - 21/22
Arsenal tomorrow - 11/8

Those are good picks bro.... i done something simular to you.....

CSKA vs. Palermo - CSKA won the away leg by 3 goals, and dont know if you know or not, but the Russian season is over, so the Russians are real well rested and don't have to worry about excess amount of games. Palermo are coming of 3 losses, conceding 6 and only scoring 2.

Benifica 0 Handicap vs. Lyon - Lyon are in real bad form right now. and it doesn't help that their best attacking options are missing too, (Lopez and Bastos are out due to injury). Benifica are second in the Portuguese league, and thier home record is fantastic with 5 wins and 0 losses and 10 goals scored and 0 conceded. I took the 0 handicap cause Lyon might be durable enough to take a draw.

Auxerre 0 Handicap vs. Ajax - Auxerre are showing much much better form now that they have learned to adapted without their best sniper, Ireneusz Jelen. Auxerre are comming off a real good away win vs. a tough PSG side, and Nice. I took the 0 handicap, cause I think Ajax are durable enough to get a draw.

Rubin over Pana - your reasoning is good enough for me!

10 will land you 65

the Valencia pick is the only one that concerns me..... cause i seen them play not to long ago and they looked pretty vulnerable....but your other picks look solid to me bro

What do people think of Rees/Watson? Rees between 10-12 or make it a bit wider with 7-12?

Gavin Rees 4/6. Anyone seen much of Watson? Not sure I've ever seen him. :think Not much quality on his record.

He's a good boxer is Watson, certainly a bit of class about him and he can box on the back foot which is needed against Rees. Check out his fight with Ben Murphy, who is similar to Rees in terms of style. But, he's also vulnerable and was almost stopped in the last round of the Gethin fight.

I'm backing Gavin Rees to stop him in rounds 10-12, which is at 16/1 currently.

Cheers Kos. Good shout.

He does look a fairly tidy operator. I think he shows class when he's given time and can compose himself (watched a couple of other fight clips) but despite his ability to box whilst moving away he doesn't look all that comfortable under pressure. He doesn't seem too good at getting out of the way either. Too many straight lines.

Late stoppage could be a decent shout given that he hasn't been more than 10 rounds and Rees is unlikely to let up.

Will have to do a bit more research before the fight.

Noticed his trunks were very Hatton-esque in that Murphy fight. Is there an association there?

(. . .Nice ring girls at the start of the Murphy fight too :yep)

Thinking some small bets this weekend:

£10 on Rees between 10 and 12 with £5 on between 7-12 for a little more security.
£10-15 on Marquez KO (think Juanma will win but the odds are too long to pass up)
£5 on both fighters to go down

Possible bet on Judah vs the Argie depending on the odds. Also waiting on the Johnson-Green weigh-in to see what the fighters look like. How does everyone see it going? Or are you all waiting for the weights as well? :p

I think Judah will KO Matthyse in the first 6 if he doesn't its a typical Judah fight where it could go either way.

I fancy Johnson 100% in their fight but will wait on the weigh in just in case. I can't see Green being active enough or good enough to take much rounds from Johnson.

People are focusing a lot on Glen making the weight (and rightly so) but Green himself said he wasn't all that comfortable with making 168 anymore so it could really go either way. Might all depend on who looks the driest at the weigh in :think

Have you seen much of Matthyse? Is he as good as his record suggests or is it another Bradley-Abregu situation?

People are focusing a lot on Glen making the weight (and rightly so) but Green himself said he wasn't all that comfortable with making 168 anymore so it could really go either way. Might all depend on who looks the driest at the weigh in :think

Have you seen much of Matthyse? Is he as good as his record suggests or is it another Bradley-Abregu situation?

Aye I hadn't really thought about Green making weight to be honest he complained a lot about it after the fight but I didn't think he looked weight drained. Just Ward made him look like the fighter he really is. If Johnson can keep the same pressure on Green the way he does at Light heavy on fighters I'm almost sure It will be Johnsons to lose.

I remember looking into Lucas when I first heard about him, power looks good although he really struggled to put Harris away, seems to have a decent defence against the opposition he was in against but he seems to have a style suited to Zab. I can see him walking onto something big from Zab and Zab finishing him. Has a style very like his brothers who isn't a bad fighter just a notch below the top level which i think Lucas looks to me.

:happy

They've corrected it then. It was definitely "No". I can't use Skybet ATM, need to verify my account with them. Should really get it done with some of their prices especially on the boxing.

I'll be leaving this game then. Reading have scored 8 in their last two games. QPR no win in 4 (all draws). Though QPR and Cardiff are priced better than they otherwise would be due to form and local derby in Cardiff's case.

After yet another man of the match performance against Inter Milan
on Tuesday night Gareth Bale is 15/8 to not be a Tottenham player on
the first day of the 2011/12 Premier League season. Bale is 1/2 not
to see out his current contract at Tottenham.
He followed up his hat-trick in the San Siro against Inter by
creating two of Tottenham's 3 goals in their 3-1 victory over Inter
Milan at White Hart Lane.

Those performances have certainly put the Welsh star in the
spotlight with many of the big European teams interested in buying
the Tottenham midfielder.
Skybet are offering a market on which team will sign him in next

This weekend rugby league international - Aussies 10/11 ...this is a good thing !

The Aussies have a very exciting side named with Carney at 6 and farah coming of the bench to counter Luke when he gets game time ... Boyd at FB , Lawrence in the middle ... i really like the mix of the aussie side this weekend..

Alot of tipsters are with NZ but this aussie side is full of new faces and will be hungry to make a point before next weekends final ... 10/11 is massive lump on ! cheers Betfred

College football for tonight. Kick off @ 11:30

Georgia Tech @ Virginia Tech (ht hc -7)

Virginia have outscored their opponents 100-21 in the first half of their last 3 home games and I think that this will continue. The ft hc is -13.5, I think this will come in but I'm more confident with the first half hc.

I have got my last 6 college football bets right so hopefully you guys can make on it.

What's the old saying?

Yep that's it: Sods Law. GT 14-0 up. It's the same with me and tennis, put a bet up on a forum and it's bound to go tits up.

I haven't got bets on all of them but I agree with his first 8 picks this week for match results. Anyone got any strong feelings this weekend?

Seems to be decent value around. Anyone for Tottenham, Birmingham, Blackburn, Everton or Sunderland? Birmingham v West Ham under 2.5 maybe better value, at 4/6, than a Brum win at 10/11?

West Brom or Draw at 4/6? Will they miss their suspended players and injury absentess or can they carry on their good form without them?

It's only up with one bookie at the moment and they're just pricing the outright winner. There's not much value in the 2/5 with Judah, so I would wait and see if the odds for method of victory come up. I fancy Judah to win inside the first 6 rounds.

I had a look on odds checker but there isn't anything to go on like you say. I was liking what V. Wallace had to say, in that it should be Judah inside 6 or a distance fight. Be interested to see if you can back the pair for a profit.

Bet365 have gone for Judah at 4/7, still pretty short, might even be worth chucking in an accumulator if they don't price it up further

Edit: Boylesports have Judah KO/TKO at 7/4 over the 12 rounds

Rich T - He is pretty good, I don't follow them every week but I would estimate he gets 6 or 7 out of 10 most weeks. Mind you some of them are probably odds on. A couple of weeks ago he picked:
Arsenal 2 Birmingham 1
Bet: Over 2.5 Goals - WON
Man Utd 2 West Brom 2
Bet: Over 2.5 Goals - WON
Newcastle 2 Wigan 2
Bet: First Goal After 26th Minute - LOST
Everton 2 Liverpool 0
Bet: Under 2.5 Goals - WON
Blackpool 2 Man City 3
Bet: Under 3.5 Cards - WON
Blackburn 0 Sunderland 0
Bet: Under 10.5 Corners - WON

which was the week I didn't have access to my PC and I didn't post his picks!!

Reasoning: I'm willing to forgive Sunderland's nightmare last weekend as a blip.*All teams will throw in a shocker from time to time, it's just unlucky for the Sunderland fans that theirs came against Newcastle.
*
Sunderland at home and Sunderland away are 2 very different propositions.*They have only lost 3*of 24 Premier League home games under Steve Bruce and all 3 of those*were*forgiveable coming against Chelsea, Man Utd and Villa (when Villa were up in 3rd last Xmas).*This season their home record is very impressive considering the strength of their opponents:-
*
DREW 2-2 v Birmingham
WON 1-0 v Man City
DREW 1-1 v Arsenal
DREW 0-0 v Man Utd
WON 1-0 v A.Villa
*
9 points out of*a possible 15*against that opposition is very decent.
*
Obviously a lot rests on how Sunderland's collective mental state sits. You will often see people say "Team A*will really want to win this today therefore they are a good bet" and that of course is generally nonsense. However*I do feel in situations like this when a team has been embarrased last time out there is a bit of truth in that. I remember last season looking into how teams bounced back after a particularly bad or embarrasing defeat and the results showed that there is def value in backing the "wounded animal" next time out.
*
Wigan losing 9-1 at Spurs last season but then beating Sunderland 1-0 at home next time out is a*prime example. I wouldn't include big losses at places like Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal etc in this mini system as big defeats there are almost par for the course but when a side like Sunderland gets hammered by a side like Newcastle it does seem to pay to back the loser to bounce back next time out.
*
Stoke are probably as good an opponent as we could have asked for. They have lost 4 of their 5 Premier League away games so far. They are the joint lowest away scorers in 2010 with only 10 goals in 14 games.*Sunderland have only conceded 9 goals in 14 games in 2010. Only Chelsea, Man Utd and Tottenham have a better home defensive record than that with 8 conceded. A strong home defence against a weak away attack is always a good start.
*
It seems a bit daft to talk about Sunderlands strong defence when they have just conceded 5 at Newcastle but you dont get a long term defensive record like Sunderlands by luck. I'm willing to cut them a bit of slack and I think they are a value price to bounce back to form.

Reasoning:*Sociedad have made a strong start to the season at home:-
*
WON 1-0 v Villarreal
LOST 1-2 v Real Madrid
WON 1-0 v Espanyol
WON 3-0 v Deportivo
*
Very decent start with 3 wins*and a narrow dereat to Real*Madrid not a bad return at all. The*1-0 win against Villarreal is especially impressive as it is the only loss and*only time Villarreal have failed to score all season.
*
Santander have took just 1 point from their 4 La Liga away games this season although to be fair to them those 4 opponents were Real Madrid, Villarreal, Sevilla and Valencia so thats a tough set of games and you cant really tell how strong/weak they are.*
*
I think the key is to try and get on board with strong home teams as early as possible. You may get a few wrong but you only need to get one or two right and you have yourself a nice return. At the moment Sociedad are showing signs that they may be*the next Mallorca or Espanyol so I'm willing to take a bit of a risk*and go with them.

****
Reasoning:*Continually surprised at the odds available for Espanyol at home. They were a favourite of mine at the back end of last season and dont see any reasons why we shouldn't continue to back them now.
*
Espanyols 2010 home record reads W-W-D-W-W-D-W-D-W-D-L-W-W-W-W-W (P16, W11, D4, L1). Only Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia and Villarreal have a better La Liga home record in 2010. They arnt the highest scorers with just*21 goals in those 16 games but they do have the best home defence with only*6 goals conceded and more home clean sheets than anyone else in Spain with*10 in 16 games. Included in that was a 0-0 draw against Barca, only the 3rd*time in*82 games in the last 2 and a bit*years*that Barca have been shutout in a La Liga game.
*
So far this season*Espanyol are 100% at home with*4 wins out of 4.
*
Malaga*overall are the 3rd worst performing La Liga in 2010 with only 7 wins in 32 games. They have brought in Manuel Pellegrini as new manager so he may bring an improvement but*overall this is just about following Espanyol blindly at home when available at these odds.

Reasoning: Over-achievers vs under-achievers in this one.
*
On the evidence we have seen on the pitch so far there isn't much seperating these two sides. If you look at the*10 games played so far it is remarkable that Man City have only picked up 2 points more than West Brom have. WBA have had by far the tougher*set of games (possibly the toughest set of games any team in the league has had so far) and that they have picked up 15 points is a massive achievement.
*
I appreciate that Man City have by far the stronger squad on paper and the potential for improvement in the next 10 games is far greater*for City but I think you can only go on what has actually happened not what could or should happen in the future and based on what we have seen so far*WBA are huge value in this one.
*
City have already lost at Sunderland and Wolves this season and were fairly fortunate not to lose in 2 of their 3 other away trips at Spurs and Blackpool. Their*complete away record under Mancini is P16, W6, D5, L5 which is poor for a supposed title challenger.
*
West Brom are undefeated at home so far with 3 wins and 2 draws and I think there's value in the home team in this one.

Can I get your opinion on something lads?

Was looking through some colege football odds and found that one game had a total first half points market at over/under 13.5. The total under/over for the game was 61 so it was an obvious mistake. (Much similar to the Tony Bellew fight)

I placed a huge bet on this as 13.5 points in one half is obsurd. Via an online chat, I asked if the odds were correct, the women then asked a senior member of staff and confirmed that the bet would be valid. I checked the odds again last night and was going to post it in here but the market had changed to under/over 30.5. After logging into my account, the bet has been voided. I have emailed them but haven't recieved a reply yet.

I took a screen dump of the online chat as proof that they had checked the bet and confirmed that it would stand.

Have I got any rights? Or will they sprout some line from the T&C's saying that they can do anything?

Beeston, I like NZ with a hc of -12

International Rugby Union Autumn Internationals start next weekend.

Wales vs Australia - No odds as yet but save Australia for your accumulators. Wales have lost a lot of players through injury and Australia are battle hardened. Australia by 10

Engalnd vs New Zealand - England will keep it tight for a while but these new laws play right into NZ hands. Having practised in the Tri Nations a lot with them and this being England's first game with them, expect a fairly comfortable NZ win. NZ by 12

Ireland vs South Africa - South Africa are struggling a bit of late. Expect these guys to both be about evens. Tough one to call but Ireland are consistant at home and South Africa are a little unsettled. Ireland by 5

Was fairly accurate apart from that Ire/SA game!

Almost too accurate!

I fancied the Saffies against Ireland..... even though they've got the ability to beat the southern hemisphere sides (inc the Argies) they still don't have the belief.

The Welsh forwards were outstanding against the Aussies, the World Cup is probably a year too early for them (again :-()

I don't know. A lot can happen in 1 year. I think the WC next year is going to be very exciting. The ABs look far from unbeatable and they're pretty much playing at full tilt at the moment. Australia have one massive, obvious weakness. It looks like we'll play them in the QF and if we have a fit and healthy squad, I think we can put a gameplan in place to be able to beat them. Don't forget that these Southern Hemisphere teams are battle hardened after a tough Tri Nations. Us lot up here will get a few results in the next few weeks, I'm sure of it. The Saffers are there for the taking. England have finally found some backs. If you guys can find a world class 12, you'd be a right handful. Tindall is... well... he's not world class.

Didn't see Ireland today but France are also around.

Beeston Brawler
11-06-2010, 04:53 PM
Yeah..... the All Blacks might be doing their usual and peaking a year early.

Their scrum is average, we easily got the better of them there.... the French are better scrummagers than us.

The Aussies are even worse, most Magners League teams have a better scrum than them, and for some reason they persist with the likes of Giteau and leave the better players on the bench.

South Africa look alright, their pack is very good, especially in the lineout area but their back play lacks imagination.

England..... I think we need Tindall to give a bit of a hard nose to the midfield, we've tried plenty of combinations in the past few years and none have worked. We need to stop making substitutions for the sake of making substitutions.... Johnson took off Cueto and the scrum half, both of which were doing fine - no idea why.

The Welsh forwards are exceptional, well drilled, and led by the world's best #9 in Phillips. If only they had someone to compliment Williams and a non-injury prone top class full back......

PrideOfWales

The Welsh forwards are exceptional, well drilled, and led by the world's best #9 in Phillips. If only they had someone to compliment Williams and a non-injury prone top class full back......

The Welsh front 5 is good now... It's been a bloody long time coming though. It has been our weakness for a long long time. Now that we have that, we seem to be short in other areas. Our back row isn't really up there. We lack a presence, a big strong ball carrier like an Elsom or a Parisse.

Half backs, Phillips is a threat. He is always sniping and creates space out wide by keeping the defence keen near the rucks. I would have liked to have seen Gatland give Dan Biggar the Autumn series. People say that he lacks the control at 10 that Stephen Jones has but I'm not even sure that Jones makes the most of many situations when he kicks. Jones is decent but Biggar is the chief understudy but is not being given games.

In the outside backs, I think that we are lacking physical presence. Jamie Roberts will add that but he's a one-trick pony. Looked great in a midfield but he had the best centre in the world next to him.

As I said, with a fit full strengh 15, we'll be a handful for everyone apart from NZ. But lack real quality outside of the front 5 and Phillips.

I don't rate Elsom...... he's like a lesser version of Charvis to me.

He takes the ball static, either on the gain line or way behind, and is just asking to be turned over.

Neil Back would be wishing he was ten years younger, he'd rape the kid IMO.

Avoid betting on Leeds at all costs.

Too erratic.

If I had to pick I'd bet on us to win, but wouldn't put a bean on it.

Our away form is excellent, but it's three home defeats on the spin against a team desperate for a result.

The only saving grace is that Schmeichel is back, but after two back to back wins we are 9th in the league and might get complacent.

Avoid betting on Leeds at all costs.

Too erratic.

Agreed, especially at home.

Bear that in mind and look at Swansea's home record. They're P7 W5 D2 L0 only conceding 1 at home. They're coming off a win vs Cardiff and they're 4/5 at home to Boro on Sunday! Get on that quick because they should go down by the weekend.

His chin is good; took quite a few flush shots in both fights against Power, who is a good puncher (although Davies hits harder), and I don't think he was really hurt in either fight.

Some high risk plays I like:

Gary Davies by stoppage over Stuart Hall 5/1
Why? Why is he this much of an underdog? Hall is nothing special, he's upright and hittable and has not faced a puncher, Martin 'No' Power ain't one, Davies is a banger, this could turn out to look very silly. So I think we take Davies most likely avenue of victory rather than the less than 2/1 outright, its a better value bet and we don't risk so much though it might be a situation where we kick ourselves later.

Carl Froch over Arthur Abraham 13/10
I don't think Froch is an underdog, honestly Abraham needs a KO in this fight. I don't mind our money on a 13/10 shot when on points he's a very likely(sure?) victor. Sure Abraham has a great chance of sparking him considering how open he is but he might have a hard time punching up at Froch. 13/10 is nice here.

Katsidis over Marquez 14/5
There are way too many questions hanging over JMM for this not to be attractive. Age, back down to lightweight, fairly inactive, troubled by Diaz's non-punching pressure, Katsidis in his best form. Nice bet at 3/1.

What !! ...JMM is older yup i agree will it catch up with him on the night ? well it hasnt happened yet ... he fought at lightweight last time up and only went up 10lbs to match PBF otherwise hes good at the weight ! Inactive ? he fought in July and has had 2 fights in the same period as Kats so cant see whats the issue there ... Diaz didnt trouble JMM at all it was one way traffic and Kats coming off a 3rd round victory against Mitchell or JMM from a bout with Diaz ! think there both in decent form ...

Personally I can see JMM schooling Kats - Kats come forward style will suit JMM all day long and given JMMs punch output I can only see a late stoppage or UD in favour of the Mexican ! ..id rather be on JMM 4/9 with Betfred ....

I was 2/4 for the evening...... that let me down as did Stoke to draw with Birmingham.

My banker of ''both teams to score'' in the Leeds game helped as did a small punt on Spurs to draw with Sunderland at nearly 4/1.

All in all a very stressful evening, wasn't really worth it for the 27p I won.

I think it's 16 or 17 of 20 Leeds games..... both teams have scored.

We've only kept clean sheets against an AIDS riddled Sheffield Utd team that should have won easily and against Watford.... only Cardiff have stopped us from scoring and they are easily the best side in the division.

He took a lot of punishment against Floyd, he was ready to be stopped numerous times so that could be worse for him than being stopped early. No Diaz I Marquez did struggle badly. The scorecard were all even at the time of the stoppage, it wasn't easy going until he landed the big punch. Of course he won the rematch easier, counterpunchers always have a huge advantage in rematches against pressure fighters.

Chelsea are 5/6 to win to nil this weekend against Sunderland. Chelsea are yet to concede at home this season. Sunderland have scored only 5 in 6 away games and have Darren Bent out injured, who is responsible for 3 of those 5 goals. The other 2 have come from Gyan who is available at 3/1 for a goal any time during the game for some insurance. Looks as good a bet as any on paper.

A bit further from home . . .Malaga and Levante both have a 70% record of being involved in games that contain 2.5 or more goals. The two play at Malaga this weekend. Malaga's last 6 home games have gone over 2.5 goals but the bookies still have it priced at 9/10 for the game to go over 2.5. Malaga have just appointed a new coach (Pellegrini) however so there is a new factor involved. Still seems good value though.
