What is Edison Miranda doing fighting in London? I hear he's down to fight at the York Hall on 20 March.
Shamefully I've never been there so quite tempted to get down but this seems a bit far fetched and finding out info is proving tricky.
Anyone know for sure that this is going to come off or the promotional tie-ups?
Presumably he's here to chase a fight with Froch by raising his profile, can't think of any other reason as he's pretty well known in the US - or at least better known then here?

Looks like its set for 20th March against Joey Vegas who got a draw with our very own Dean Francis last month. Should be good.

It's part of the Jones Jr vs Sheika PPV package at secondsout.com, a repeat obviously.

It is awful. Edison should be fighting an half decent world rated opponent not a gay way down our own domestic rankings.

.....not a gay way down our own domestic rankings.
Freudian slip?, or do you know something about Joey that we don't?
Vegas will probably make him look bad for a while.

Surprising how often I write gay instead of guy. I have evidence of whether he is a bender or not.
Why is gay on your mind so much?

Quality, back in the day.... When promoters used to deliver value for money, they would think nothing of bringing over a world class fighter to exhibit there skills... often purely to entertain locals. Thats what te promoters should try and do for a bit of umph!!!

Looks good - Vegas looked a little out of shape on Shooting Stars at Xmas, maybe he'll sit on him....
Going to get tickets for this this weekend.
The chief support is a lad from Morden (I know that one, it's end of the Northern line) against someone from Mudeford - that doesn't sound like a real place, or is near Fulchester?
