Ok, so its been done to the death, the vote has probably been done a 100+ times already. But. March 14th is getting ever closer, the hype is getting ever greater, and, I want to be a part of it :D So, lets keep it simple, who wins, and how?

The poll above suggests otherwise...

Well that should of being there from the get-go my friend and we wouldn't of had this dilemma.

True, perhaps. But Im not aware (yet) of any other fights on the night involving a future HOF'er to compete for the title of 'The Big Fight' lol.

Your forgiven.:D

Seriously though, I'm still undecided. i started by thinking Khan on points or late stoppage but I've being watching Barrera's fights against Marquez and Pac and I'm being swayed a bit.

In fact, no I'm sticking with Khan.

Same here... very undecided..could really go either way IMO... Just depends on the Khan that turns up I believe, if he arrives with decent movement, and taking it slightly cautiously as opposed to the old Khan rushing in like an over eager kid, he could have the better of Barrera due his overall natural advantages at this stage. But as Roach says, only one mistake from Khan is required before its lights out.. cant wait.

I would say it would depend more on what Barrera turns up myself.

That is the biggest unknown in this fight.

I'm supporting our own - Khan by ko. MAB will get caught with something he doesn't see coming and then overwhelmed. If size and age ain't a problem then nothing suggests Khan should win unless he fights an ultra safe, boring, jab and grab fight where he steals a decision.

Khan by stoppage, either Ref or corner.

The closer it gets the less convinced i am tho. Wouldnt fall off my chair if MAB sparks him.

khan will stop him by TKO. Barrera aint what he was

This is true, however I believe Khan has all the physical advantages in this fight to win, and Barrera has all the advantages in terms of experience and mentally, with his boxing brain. At this stage of both fighter career I believe that, if used correctly the physical advantages will be able to overpower MAB.

Your last line is 100% correct... whatever I've been saying may well turn out to be absolute bollocks, as no one really knows what kind of Barrera could turn up.

Khan by stoppage in the 9th.

I think his age and massive size advantage will be too much for an old Barrera to handle unless Khan gets stupid. Then he has a chance to get KO'd.

I really hope Barrera does a number on him though.

Khan to stop MAB inside 5 , or Khan on points. Its Khan's time, boy becomes a man, well I hope so.

5-6 round beat down. Amir Khan RUINS Barrera, in the worst Legend Killer performanc of recent times, and most upsetting.

Im agreeing here. Khan will KO Barrera in the middle stages of the fight and look good doing it.

If Khan wins it will be by decision. If Barrera wins it will be by stoppage. In 72 pro fights Barrera has been stopped only once and thats by Manny Pacquio when they first fought going back a few years. I dont think Khan can stop Barrera.
If Barrera is past his best then Khan is also way too green in terms of both his age and experience and this is not even taking the chin factor into account and the fact he was brutally knocked only two fights ago.

If Barerra see's the 7th he stops Amir late.

amir doesnt have a stamina problem, that said khan will work behind the jab early to build a points lead, beating barrera to the punch, around the fifth khan will up the pace and start rocking barrera with long range combos before coming in with harder shots, barrera bravely fights on and throws with khan in an exciting 2 or 3 rounds, barrera tires and khan fires widly forcing barrera to the ropes were he will be floored before the ref can step in, barrera will get up but the ref waves the fight away, KO victory for khan around the eighth

Id say 60/40 Khan. Too many what ifs surrounding this fight.

Interesting on the votes, most people believe there will be a KO one way or another!
