Last Saturday was a brilliant night for boxing. I sent my Mrs out with her mates, put the kids in bed, and sat in front of the TV glued for over 5 hours.
14th March is similar, except the catch is if you want the Sky show it will cost you £15. ITV 4 has the Macklin fight, Young Mutley, Tyson Fury. Sky has a better bill, but as you have got a few hours of action for free would you pay for the rest?

I missed that. This show is more attractive than the 28 Feb German show on Sentanta. It seals it for me - ITV4 then Sentanta. I will use the £15 saved on a chinese take away, and catch the Khan show on a re-run for free later
might buy the ppv on the day (just in case any fighters pull out). i'll have to sky plus the itv show.

I think the sky ppv is a complete rip off but i will pay for the fight.I wish they would just drop boxing all together and stick to the football, cricket and golf they love so much that it fills thier 3 channels 90% of the time. They have no interest in the sport and showing poor match ups on a Friday does not make up for taking the piss with ppv.Im sure setanta or itv4 would make sure any fight of interest would get shown if sky pulled out of boxing. The 14th is a good night of boxing partly ruined by the greed of sky.And i know im not helping by paying the £15 but i love the sport and dont like to miss a fight if i can help it.

As much as I like MAB I aint putting money in Khans pocket, he should never be on PPV at this stage of his career. I'll watch it free later

And you think Setanta really care? All they do is buy up a load of sport knowing that it forces people to buy it. The coverage is amatuer at best, disgraceful at worse (for all sports) and they don't even allow all their subscribers see all the boxing anyway.
The only good thing about Setanta's coverage is Buncey. I'm not saying that because he posts on here because I don't think he gives a **** what we think.
At least SKY give professional coverage and send their own commentators to the US fights which means we don't have to hear that awful Col Bob Sheridan.
Anyway they won't be around for much longer methinks.

I suspect there wil be a scheduling overlap between ITV 4, Setanta & the Sky Box office shows. This will mean you can only Sky+ 2 of them, and you would be only able to watch the 3rd show by receiving from a separate Skybox. In my house this will mean sitting in the bedroom.
Normally I would drop the German show and catch that coverage the next day. However this time I will drop the PPV, and catch that for free later - Possibly I may have the lap top on at the same time a catch it on ****** TV.

So you'd rather eat a chinese meal than watch a major boxing match? if your that bothered about saving money then cook something cheap. It's also hard not to watch a free re run without finding out the outcome of the fight, and that spoils most of the excitement!
