Holyfield PTS, but Ibeabuchi would be in there. It wouldn't be a 'schooling' Ike in his prime was a beast.

Ike in his prime was WAY better than haters give him credit for.

That'd be a close, good fight.

????????????????????????What a tough fight to pick. I would think Evander would win a decision in a grueling fight. Evander when he was young would not back down and seem to take it all. The quality of Evander would win against Ike. Ike was exceptional and would have been a decent title holder, but Evander was great.

Holyfield had some problems vs the Bert Cooper and Mike Moorer's of boxing. Sometimes Holyfiled brawled when he should have boxed, or boxed when he should have brawled. Holy also had problems for bigger fighters.

I think Ike has a shot an the upset. A very good shot. I think it would have been a heck of a fight.

Ike never really had any/many flaws exposed except perhaps he wasn't the fastest around. We know he was a physical beast, very fit, high workrate, compact puncher, tight defense, great chin, heart, good power.

This is a battle of Holyfield's speed versus Ibeaubuchi's strength with other technical aspects being very close. Allot depends on the fight strategies, but if Holyfield goes to war I see Ibeabuchi certainly taking him

My thoughts.

I might even have a rush of blood to the head before the fight and pick Ike.

This would have been a good fight! I am with those who picked Holyfield by a decision.

Ibeabuchi was a mad man, I see little chance he could be professional enough to compete with prime Holyfield.

Holyfield WDQ8: In a one sided fight, in which President Ike gets more and more frustrated before doing something real stupid.

Evander Holyfield may have been at his physical peak around his first fight with Riddick Bowe, but he was still short of peaking as a fighter. Holyfield had been able to outwill his opponents to victory before that fight, and had yet to learn it would not work against everyone. The Holyfield of the Cooper and Bowe I fights would have a lot of problems with Ibeabuchi.

After Holyfield lost to Bowe, he learned the importance of strategy.

I believe that Holyfield would use his jab, footwork, and excellent combination punching to continually out score Ibeabuchi on his way to a UD.

you don't know much about boxing if you pick against 'vander in this one. I say lopsided decision, if not throw in the towel defeat.

I dont know ,Bowe wrecked Vander twice,Lennox Really twice ,cant you see similiarities with Ike!!!

Ike didn't like bodyshots, especially precise ones. The reason he went berserk and knocked out Byrd the way he did is because Chris pisse him off with some stinging bodyshots.

Remember Holyfield breaking some of Mercer's ribs and making him of all people take a knee?

Evander was off for the Bowe fight and the Moorer fights...he was having heart and stamina problems...the Evander from the Tyson/Douglas fights finds a way to beat IKE....Thing is with IKE he had mental problems...We really dont know if he could take the pressure from Evander (of NO FEAR) and it seems like he would suffer a meltdown like he did outside the ring

My pick is Evander but Ike would always have that outside chance.
