The TV chef ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) last week decided to close the famous restaurant ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) after diners suffered vomiting and diarrhoea, and was hoping to reopen just days later.

And now the restaurant faces the prospect of being closed for weeks.
Boxing promoter ****** added to Blumenthal's woes by criticising the restaurant's response to the outbreak.
"Everything was fabulous about the evening - the food, the setting, the service, it was unbelievably good but unfortunately, afterwards, all of us were ill," he said.

Dr Graham Bickler, the HPA's regional director, said: "This is a very complex outbreak..
