Seems like the Czech heavy is making a serious run at it.

Nice, let's see if Oener puts him up to fight for a minor belt or a ABCs top 15 ranking next.

Pala has the tools but he is in need of a better cornermen, on my mind. He is a better fighter than Airich by far so I wasn't surprised with that victory. In fact, he is also Airich's stablemate, so Oner wasn't even visibly disappointed with Konstantin's loss. I mean he didn't rant at judges or knock the bell or intimidate referee, lol.

Given a right preparation, Pala can go for a EBU title pretty soon. Maybe even this year. And if the timing is right he can eventually end as a world-ranked contender. However, he isn't a world beater by any means.

In today's world HW scene you don't need to be a world beater to make some serious noise.

I also thought Pala was Arena's fighter but he is not listed as such in their website. Anyone knows who's his promoter?

Maybe now after his last two good wins people will start giving Pala more attention and put him up under a good trainer.

You are fight,monster!

Pala's decison loss to Dettweiler was very controversial. As far as I can remember even that cluessless German tv commentator whose tv channel has a contract with Dettweiler's promoter Sauerland stated that Dettweiler must be happy to be the victor that day.
Well, whoever watched that fight had Pala ahead on points.

As for Pala 's encounter with Boytsov the young Czech made the water hot for the rising Russian talent that day,but unfortunetely the fight was stopped due to a cut.
Boytsov's -who is also Vitaly's - coach Sdunek called Pala one of the most promising young heavies in europe. He was bloody right in stating that!!!

I still wonder which fight one of the refs had watched. He somehow managed to score a draw after Pala had dominated Airich for most of their fight.

From my perception, Pala's misfortunes are working for him in that he seems to have a lot of grass roots support on these boards. People know that he was giving Boytsov a hard time before the cut, and they know that he was screwed. This is making him a great sentimental fan favorite.

I hope this guy comes to America some time.

You are right, cachibatches! Pala is a kind of sentimental fan favourite. A very decent fighter with no outstanding skills who fights whoever is put in front of him wherever it is staged. A likeable young heavy,no flamboyant and flashy personality who can be easily sold to an American or German audience. He wasnt suppossed to win his fight with Airch, neither was he suppossed to win his fights with Akinwande,Boytsov,or Dettweiler.
