We don't normally associate Germany with explosive, thrilling fights. They're often more subdued, more technical, etc. But what have the best Germany based fights been, over the last couple of years?

Here's some

Ramirez v Alexeev - Alexeev lands his best shots, controlled, surgical punches. Ramirez just keeps taking them and stops Alexeev when AA tires.

Kotelnik v Maidana - Kotelnik lands beautiful accurate shots early. Maidana hitting gloves mostly over first half. Then he has breakthrough, lands some meaty power shots and Kotelnik has to gut it out for narrow win. Some thrilling exchanges late.

Balzsay-Inkin - pure class. Very controlled, both ways. High quality boxing all the way with some drama when Balzsay shakes up Inkin.

Dzinziruk-Konekny - Konekny troubles champ over first half, comes in low, lands power shots. Dzinziruk slowly comes into it, gradually getting better of fierce exchanges. Very exciting world title fight.

Licina-Herrera - Licina has to get off the canvas to grind down tough away fighter.

Braithwaite-Hernandez - big Cuban hurts and drops Braithwaite early. Braithwaite stars landing, can't miss upright home fighter...timber!#

A few years back - an injured Zsolt Erdei was given life and death vs Mehdi Sahnoune. Sahnoune just kept on swinging, hurt Erdei, wore Erdei down. Erdei ralies for late stoppage.

Any more?

Peter - Vitali

It was more of a beating than a fight, still a bit entertaining. Plus the ring enterance gives it a bonus :p

Arslan vs Jones

It was nice to watch, cos poor Arslan got badly beaten. But it was very onesided from the beginning, so not a great fight. But like I said... I enjoyd it!
