For me it's not that big of a KO when you say "greatest of all time".

For me the winner of last KO of the year honors, Ponce De Leon could be considered to be one of the greatest of all time...though their might be better ones happened years back...

From the "All time" sense I agree I suppose but it is just a savage KO....!!!
I imagine that there have been some absolute stormers pre-tv days.........!!!
Basically I just wanted people to post up some threads of thier personal favourites

Robinson/FullmerII... That left hook was perfect.

Louis/SchmelingII... The most important KO in boxing history

Moore/DurelleI... Moore gets off the floor 6 times to beat the Canadian

Jeanette/McVey (Paris April 1909) Jeanette gets off the floor over 20 times, flooring McVey 20+ times himself to win in the 49th.

Although not famous and not involving great fighters, Wayne Alexander KO'ing Takaloo is one of the most savage you will ever see, especially from the reverse angle when you see Taks eyes roll back into his head as it lands.

No idea where to find the clip though.

Tyson Spinks is my favorite. All the hype with that fight, and Tyson just laid him out and his eyes rolled back in his head.

Zab judah doing the chicken dance..YEAH BOY..

ALSO

Mike Tyson vs Frans Botha..Loved the shot and also loved it when the commentators were bagging tyson out, saying he was shot..than bang...

Yeah he was shot but not when that punch landed.

hopkins vs trinidad.... first time he (trinidad) was ever dominated, put down and KO'd, he was also in his prime.... foreman and lampleys comments said it all

the way he did it was superb... uppercut to block trinidads hook then land a hook himself

Hearns-Duran and Tua-Ruiz, but also Tyson-Berbick. Whenever a guy gets up too fast and then immediately falls back down, I call it "the Trevor Berbick dance".

berbick-tyson is the best one mentioned so far, with hearns-duran a close second

I know this fight didn't bare the significance of some of the ones you guys have mentioned, but D. Jeffries KO of Mo' Harris (I think it was 98' or 99's ring KO of the year) was nasty brutal. Harris had Jeffries on queer street trying to finish him off and chased him into the corner when "fuckin bang" Jeffries landed a shot on Harris that sent his mouthpiece into the cheap seats. I have seen this on youtube but can't find it anymore. It was a HBO fight and Merchant and Lampley went wild.

In terms of impressiveness and significance, Robinson-Fullmer 2.

Marciano-Walcott and Foster-Tiger are up there.

Ruddock-Dokes is my favorite.

Nunn-Kalambay was very impressive, as wll.

The greatest KO of all time is Ali's phantom punch... probably the most well known KO punch of all time.

That was as sweet a left hook as you could imagine , and when you view it from the side with Tak rolling his eyes back it looks as devastating as any ko .

I actually agree, I love that Tua-Ruiz KO it's outstanding. Up there with the best of them IMO.

I'd mention Rahman-Lewis, also an extraordinary KO.

I'd mention Rahman-Lewis, also an extraordinary KO.I feel pity for Ruiz...that was a devastitating shot...as you notice, Ruiz seems already unconscious while still standing before he receives the last shot...

Yeah, mad Hitler was gutted.

Astonishing boxing display. May be the greatest ever actually. See the right to Max's body when he's pinned on the ropes? You can see Schmeling scream, he's literally to paralysed to fall.
