About the same, maybe a round or so less as it wasnt a vintage Marciano performance.

A Punchbag on Legs is my initial thought, i see no reason to change it.

What a beating Cockel would take in this fight.

Has anyone seen the clip of Cockell fighting Randy Turpin? I've always been curious about it.

What are you asking? How badly he'd be beaten or if it's actually within the realm of possibility that he'd fare even half-way decent? The answer to the second question is no, no, no. The answer to the first question: at least as bad as the Marciano fight.

Frazier would beat cockel just as badly or worse than he did jerry quarry (man, those were two awfull poundings which greatly contributed to quarry's unfortunate and premature demise). Cockel would definitely land some punches because it was fraziers style to do so, but he would pay a terrible price in doing so.

Cockel was better than Tery Daniels and Ron Stander so Id say Cockell was nothing great but he tried his best in the fight of his life and was not taking a dive to his credit, he paid for it by taking a horible couragious beating

I do not think Cockel would last more than 6 rounds with a prime Frazier. Marciano had some uneven performances, and Cockel was one of them.
I see a Frazier vs Stander type of fight, with Cockell having even less fire power than Stander did to keep Joe off.
I'd say Frazier in 4.

Frazier would have busted up and stopped Cockell much like he did Ron Stander and Chuvalo, and much faster than did Rocky, but then, I think Rocky had an "off night" against Cockell, and could have stopped him much faster and in more devastating fashion himself.

I don't see Cockell having a chance at any time in Frazier's career. If he fought Frazier at 32, as was Marciano, I can see him giving the same sort of tenacious performance before being pounded down. He did have quick hands, some pop, decent boxing skills, and loads of courage.

Cockell would be battered and bloodied by Frazier. The fight going the distance or not would depend on how much the referee and crowd would be able to stomach.

A dark night for Cockell.
