Golota? Oh yeah definately, beating up Riddick Bowe twice and still finding a way to lose both times makes him great. What else did Golota do? "Well on my scorecard, he beat both Byrd and Ruiz!!!" Yeah? Well sorry to break this to you, your scorecard (and my scorecard) at the end of the day mean jackshit. Golota didn't do shit with his career, what a waste of utter talent. Atleast Bowe beat Holyfield (but even then he really didn't do much when you look at his resume).

Golota had all the tools to be a great champion. His only downfall was his way of dealing with pressure. Unfortunently this was enough to derail his road to success.

Bowe was truly great.
he took an ass whippin from a bigger man after his prime and still kept swinging until that last low blow.
Golota aint nothing but a disappointment to his fans.

I guess that makes T-Rex Sanders great too. He took a one-sided ass whipping from Golota for 10 rounds and didn't quit, kept on firing back.
Bowe's fans have plenty to be disappointed about with his career. He could've had it all, but he blew it.

:smooch
The Bowe-Golota fights is a perfect example of two "what could have been" fighters going at it. It's a shame that laziness (Bowe) and the mentality (Golota) screwed up their careers.

well not being able to deal with pressure is a tool he was missing.

You know, and I aint trying to start no shit here but I really feel Golota got short handed in this fight, sure there were the low blows as there were in the first fight, However in that second round when Golota dropped Riddick, and that was early in that round, Bowe got hit with shot after shot after shot for like two minutes straight, the ref should have stopped the fight then and there.
To me Bowe was given too many chances in that fight when he was clearly un able to defend himself. if something like that were to happen today the fight would have been stopped take a look at Manfredo vs Calzaghe, the Bowe Golota rematch had more justification to stop the fight than that one.
another thing to, I wonder how many of those low blows that were landed were as a result of Riddick pulling and leaning on the back of Andrews head? lets be honest people didnt start noticing that until Ruiz fought Johnson

Bowe was horribly shot in these fights just watch how he throws his punches.

I think he wasnt in great shape for the first fight and the rematch he was over trained the man took off alot of weight the difference is as clear as night and day:deal

Yeah, you're right. He could've had it all but he ate it all instead. "Hmmmm, Krispy Kreme donuts, Costco cakes, Entemann's brownies. Yummy, yummy, yummy."
One time I saw an interview of him and if I didn't know any better I'd swear he was Yogi Bear. He was like, "Ay, Boo Boo (Rock Newman), I think I smell a pic-a-nic basket." But seriously he was like if I see a piece of cake then I'm gonna have me some cake. I like cake.
I was like geez, louise. :patsch This guy does not have the makeup of a champion.
P.S. Rumor has it that Andrew Golota was trying to quit during the Brewster bout but it was over before he got the chance. What a waste of natural gifts.
