I'm seriously thinking about it if I can get the time off work.

Yep I'm going out with a pal of mine to support the Cobra. This is exactly the kind of fight worth crossing the Atlantic for IMO. We've gone for the best seats available, still only US$200.

Haven't decided how to get from NY to Foxwoods on the Saturday yet though (train, coach or hire car).

There's a train from NY to Boston which stops at Mystic four times a day I think. FRom the limited amount of research I've done so far Mystic is a short taxi ride from Foxwoods. I'd rather stay in a small town than the casion resort itself, after a few days in NY of course. Are you from Nottingham?

No I live in London via Liverpool. I've followed Froch from early on and seen him live vs Magee, Rybacki (which should have been Inkin) and Pascal.

Thanks for the info on trains. I think we're going to stay at the resort for the Saturday only after a couple of nights in NY.
The East coast is becoming an annual boxing trip (Cotto-Mosley, JC-RJJ) recently, I love it.

Just back from NYC myself david!

jsut bear in mind your not allowed drink on trains over there!

also i recommend business class (it was 30 dollars extra for me but well worth it for the extra space and lack of noise!)

You can pick up JFK flights pretty cheap on the net. Foxwood resort is pretty expensive though!

I'm trying to persuade my kid brother to come so maybe.

These sort of fights don't come around that often so worth the trip.

Nope, don't really like Froch. I'll watch it though. Would it be on ITV?

I'm surprised to see direct flights to NY for around £260!!:good

I'm a big Froch fan, but the good thing about this is that oneone going gets to visit New York, which has to be a bonus, and much better than dreary old Las Vegas(yawn)
