Just a curio... Where does his team take Lenny, without dissapointing fans, wasteing time or increasing risks...??

Sounds like Lance could be the go..That is a fight Id like to see and if Lance could get a few more wins and his ranking back..It could be another Soliman-Hamden with the winner getting a solid ranking.
I think thats a very dangerous fight however...If he stops Lance, I guess people will say so what he is third person to do so. I tend to think how Lenny leaves himself open after punching and how he almost walks on to punches could spell disaster against a guy with the power, speed and style of Lance.
I was mentioning in another thread last week It would be good to see Lenny in with another guy of equal standing to him from the states or the U.K. A bloke like Paul Mcloskey caught my eye.
In Lenny I see a definite future top contender for some times to come with the possibility of being a titlist depending on how strong the division is. I dont really see the next Fenech or anything, at this stage I was more impressed with a young Shannan Taylor to tell you the truth.
But he is the last man standing so to speak when talking about the 125-140 prospects we had floating around over the last few years...He continues to show his class and ability.

I'd say Lance is a good fight for Lenny so that he can stay on a roll, if he beat Lance it would be beneficial for him to fight Lovemore over 10 imo. He wouldn't lose any credit from me if he lost to the black panther, yet if he beat him that would give him good grounding for a crack at a world top 30 fighter as well as giving him great exposure.
In 6 months with another good fight under his belt i would tip Lenny to SD10 Lovemore

I never considered Lovemore..If Ndou cant make 140 anymore (which I think he probably could as he was always a lightweight who just could shave that last little bit off as he got older) at least it could be at a catchweight a few pounds over.
That would be a very good name on Lenny's record.

There is just no way IMO...Unless Lovemore has seriously faded, and quickly, recently.
He is vastly more experience and the savvy shows..but put quite simply he is one of the toughest fighters of this era. His chin is top shelf and I think especially his recovery powers are almost Saad Muhummed-ish.
Lenny isnt as good as Cotto..nor does he hit as hard. He doesnt hit as hard as Cintron, Witter or possibly even Juarez aswell.
I just dont see it...

W.a.R.. again, Lenny has the goods to mix it with N'Dou... He's agressive, has the strength to keep Lovemore on the backfoot... a great pounder of the body, fit, young, hungry, AMBITIOUS.... His lacking of predictablity would pay dividends IMO.
I see it... yet, the fight eventuating in the next 6 months.

I would back Lovemore to KO Lenny plain & simple.
I really like Zappa but he does not have huge resistance & will get hurt bigtime by something from N'dou.

To me you just described a young Miguel Cotto....and I think it is quite evident Lenny is no Cotto and probably never will be.
Lovemore made it to the final bell against Miguel and had his best moments of the fight later on after taking some vicious shots, especially to the body.
I dont think Lenny is that unpredictable, though he has a good kit of punches. To be quite honest I just watched a few rounds of that fight again tonight and Lenny was landing very little on Gairy...he had him under wraps with all the advantages he held over him but I feel he had a pretty low connect rate last night.

At L/W.. and L'more wont make the weight, Zap would have his measure.

Ndou in 6 months is far too big a leap for Lenny IMO saying lenny would stop Lovemore is kinda interesting to say the least! Get Gostellow next, Zap has plenty of time on his side and plenty to learn. There is no need to rush

i think lenny is a great prospect but thats what he is a prospect, its a massive jump up to fight lovemore, were talking about a guy whose versed cotto, witter, malinaggi, sharmba mitchell and kermit cintron he came up short in all fights but he did has his moments and he is very experienced fighter at the moment he could eat lenny up, everyone thought rabah would beat ndou and that didnt go to script... right now lenny just needs to keep fighting people that will test his skill, then move on to people that are fringe world class in a year or 2

I see Zappa beating Ranoy easily. I would like to see Zappa vs Gostelow. Or maybe Kickett. Then after that go overseas.:p

I dont think a kickett will come up to light-welter from super-feather to fight someone like zappa

I dont think Willie should either...He would want to keep his mobility as much as possible.
Lenny vs Onikeke should be fun..From a technical perspective Fatai is just terrible, looks like he is playing an old style poker machine when he uppercuts. Very leaky defence with an good but not iron chin to make up for it. He can really hit though and he throws everything with bad intentions.
Onikeke, Ganoy then Gostellow seems like a good run for Lenny this year..I got no problem with him taking that road.

winnable fights all of em, Zappa is that good. I reckon let's wait how he goes agaisnt Latinos then we'll see. Poor Spanish conquistador pillaged countries like Sth Am have the best boxers at that weight. So, we will see. Stop padding his record, let's see if he is for real against the S.A mehikano, columbian etc.

Of course he is going to find a lot of good Mexicans at this weight, as they have crazy depth at welterweight and below..Id love to see Lenny in with some of their boys...But as for Colombians I think the next tier is pretty weak and I dont see anyone worth fighting considering after the top figthers in Urango and Torres (who would knock Lenny cold at this stage) you dont have to much to chose from. There are actually some good Argentinians floating around at Lenny's level or just above.

Zapp will eat up Fati in 4 rounds...next step Ganoy....if he wins.....dream fight for Zapp in a year or so would be rocky Kat.....wow that would go off......dont know who would win yet.....maybe lean to Zapp because he has lots of movement while rocky comes forward a little down the line for my thoughts.
I am sure I will cop a pasting for saying Zapp will beat rocky but what the hell :hi:

He's not ready for Lovemore & Ganoy is too big a risk (ie, he can punch).
Start with Egberime (now campaigning at 140) & then bring in a couple of respectable overseas imports for him to fight here.

Dont know if Lovemore will come down anymore......Zapp is ready for Ganoy if he can beat St Clair like he did......Bring on Ganoy I think.

That means not putting him in with Ganoy or that Nigerian mentioned above (the one with 19 kayos from 22 wins).

Didn't lil Dulog sat him down 2x in rnd 1? I fink, Ganoy power is overrated.
and @ 140 Zappa's chin is better neways!

Agree Zapps ready for top 25 to 30 in his division....Ganoys gotta be in that department...after he beats Ganoy hes ready for top 20s.

Im glad Zappa got back to using boxing skills to break someone down, a few fights back he was getting a bad habbit of just throwing wide haymakers leaving himself open, he is very markatable with his looks and style, yet seems polite as wvwn in the corner when Billy gave him instructions he was responding with "yes sir" and saying thankyou when told he was doing good.
