Hey, I watched a fight sooooo long ago when I was a little kid that I credit for really drawing my interest into boxing. I can't remember all of the details, but I am almost certain it was James Toney fighting. I'm trying to find information or a video of the fight but I can't seem to recall exactly who was fighting. Can you guys help me out? Here's the little of what I know.
1) It was an older James Toney Fight
2) It was on regular TV (espn, abc, etc...)
3) James Toney was losing the entire fight and towards the end of the fight he just ran at the guy throwing anything and everything he had. Ended up knocking the guy down like 3 times to win the fight.
4) The other boxer was undefeated I think.
5) The other boxer and his trainers protested the fight accusing Toney of "Rough Housing" the round where he just ran out at him.
I went on boxrec.com and found a fight where Toney was significantly behind on the scorecards and won by TKO in the 11th. This fight was vs. Michael Nunn. I watched the fight on youtube, but that is not the fight I am thinking of.
There IS a possibility that it was not James Toney, but I'm pretty sure it was.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
