thats a pretty handy replacement, even though past losses is still a veteran who can fight...

does clouser live here or have family here? good on him for taking the fight, and well done for hoppa to take a decent guy on.
yeah cliff isnt a world beater, but he almost had sol in trouble. i hope hoppa can show a jab and some head movement.

Couser just has a good manager who lives in the region ;-)
He's been training hard and will be fit for this one, he wasnt in shape for the Solo fight and still managed to give him problems. Cliff is at the end of his career but hes still dangerous and he proved that when he had Solo Hurt in the 5th. Cliff has always been a kill or be killed guy he wont die wondering!

Couser will KO Hoppa in a slugfest.

I think this is a good fight for hoppa......I will go against the grain and say points win to hoppa in a tough fight.

If Cliff wasnt arriving the day of the fight he might stand more of a chance. Could take him a few rounds to wake up which may not be ideal!!

This article was in saying when mensah broke his hand they try ringing around the country after more than 20 aussie h/w's didn't want to rumble with hoppa so they got couser.I wonder if any of the top 10 h/w's got the call? maybe the bottom 20 h/w's?
Any heavyweight manager, trainer, boxers, family etc can vouch for this that hoppa did call you guys? it makes you think the top 10 ranks are shit scared of hoppa.

Hoppa should finish this inside 4. Couser will be crafty, and can take them, but he does have a habit of going down early (Solo fight excluded)

meh...Hoppa is a strong aggro dude lacking boxing skills..
I can't see him doing particularly well against true contenders, and I very much doubt that his team asked any of the top Aussie HVYs to step in to replace his original opponent.

Hoppa runs from Chauncy Welliver, Welliver has been wanting to fight him for a long time now.
Also if you look at Hoppas resume Couser is probably the 2nd best if not the best opponent Hoppa has faced to date............I think right now Couser VS Mirovic would be 50/50 maybe slightly leaning towards Mirovic

Hoppa won. Couser wouldn't come out for the 4th. Couser didn't throw many punches and Hoppa pretty much unleashed on him for 3 rounds.
Peter Kariuki won by KO with a nice right hand early in the 1st

Did couser look off.....or did Hoppa look good?
I know we wont see Hoppa VS Sol but maybe Hoppa VS Col maybe worth a shot.....might give a better picture of the aust HW division......or Hoppa vs Kurby
Did anyone record this fight?

Couser probably had nothing in the tank after arriving on the morning of the fight

Mate, Hoppa can only fight whats in front of him, but Couser put nothing up. He basically laid against the ropes covering up for the whole time. Hoppa was able to just load up his punches, and I mean really load up. Maybe it was jet-lag.

Why would Couser just come here the day of the fight, i mean serously.

Cause that what Cliffy does...he is a true journeyman.

He took the fight on a weeks notice so I guess he could have had a few things to sort out before he could fly over. I don't know how he could expect to be competitive though

Yep... turning up on the day of the fight is typical of a journey man also. I guess Anthony Van Niekerk's plane will be landing in the minutes prior to his bout with 'dangerous' Danny Hasbeen too. Greens making himself look journeyman-ish, by taking this fight.

Fighting bums makes a fighter look like a bum. It has for the last 2 years of Mundines career. I hope this nobody sends Green back into retirement.

Buster.. your opinion is sour, lol. I liked Green in his previous career.. yet, this time he is making a comeback, based purely on the chance to fight Mundine for a last ditch money grab. Green has made no mention of chasing the L/HW title which suggests his legitimate hunger is GONE.
Taking on Anthony Van Driver is a poor start.. unrealistic in terms of testing the rust in Danny. After this fight, what next ??? Bring Garcia over for another 'magnificent' fight card in Perf???
This comeback will leave no positive memories for Green. Beating a few duds for some easy cash has become tastless for Aust fight fans. For Green to follow the same mould, enroute to another poor outing with Mundine, will ensure his career legacy becomes tainted. Better off retired.
