Vic has too much speed in this imo, if he fights like he did vs mijares, agbeko wont be able to getoff anything

As a 'unified champ' he should be top 5 already...??!!!??
Is there another 4 with 'unified' titles??

its not just about how many belts you can pick up.

pacman hasnt picked up all the belts along the way but be is a deserving p4p #1.

vic should be a role model for all boxers.... he fights often, takes the big fights and ducks nobody (i think the donaire fight is being stopped by his promoter).... too many guys only fight once or twice a year, not good enough

I've seen his fight on the under card of a big show recently. Good first choice for Vic at the higher weight, and the belt will be great leverage in negotiations with Hozumi Hasegawa WBC Bantam champ.

Vic vs. Hasegawa is the ******* fight.

Agreed... but picking up the belts, unifying titles and leaving little doubt who 'THE MAN' is, is what the games is about..... or was about. Its business, and business is all about money... not necessarily credibilty.

Vic, IMO has little worry about unifying the Bantam Div. He will likely manage to unify the SB/W.

His credibilty is doubtless.. and will increase in the next 18 months.

I think its fantastic that he will be having his 4th fight within 8months. Thats totally and utterly unheard of in any type of situation let only 4 world titlle fights. I agree its great management.

I Know Elias well , dont think for one second that Donaire isnt on his radar he is calling the shots not Gary Shaw. He wants Donaire to bring something to the table he wont give Donaire a free ride on Vic's back. US TV only want our boy not Donaire.

I remember three years ago no one wanted to fight Vic, now they can smell the cash from a mile away and they are all line up.

GO THE RAGING BULL !!!!!!!!

It's only a move up in 3 punds, not that punch power comes from 3 pounds of weight.

Looking forward to this. I am backing Vic but this is a very dangerous fight. I'm still not convinced of Vic's chin, . . . I would only rate it good to average. He was wobbled a couple of time by Arce. All it can take is one punch to turn a fight and it looks like this guy has real power, but I'm backing my boy.

Yeah but at 115 the only real puncher he faced was Arce.

After the Mijares fight I think Vic thinks he can beat anybody.....most would agree.

I would like to see the same "thinker" that fought Mijares turn up for the Agbeko fight....and lets hope we dont see the return of the "fighter" that fought Donarie.

Go Vic P4P glory :bbb

....and what happened in that fight???? A big puncher must land his blows. Arce couldnt. He was belted from pillar to post. That tells most people, that Vic is both, a great puncher and has the ability to box well enough to land his blows tellingly.

Sidorenko was a solid titlist...Skilled little operator. Nothing special though, more suited to the amatuers, tended to box brillantly for a little while then switch off. Only seen a highlights package of that fight though. Agbeko fought him before Wlad won the title.

He grinded down Perez..who looked pretty shop worn and really wasnt anything more than an exceptional puncher at best. Perez got an absolute gift against Kirolov, who of course Vic raped.

Saw him smash some no name fighter on a Versus card just before he won the title...Couldnt really gauge much off that fight.

He is the probably the least accomplished and H2H weakest titlist at the weight. But that doesnt mean he isnt a bull strong puncher who has shown a pretty good chin.
He presents a dangerous challenge for Vic, whilst probably being a little to slow and limited to beat him.

Agbeko hasnt fought anyone of note. Sidorenko is a Kirilov clone great technician, but thats it. I saw Agbeko fight Gonzalez in his last fight, the first three rounds he was in all sorts of trouble, but Gonzalez didnt have the firepower to capatalise. Another weakness in his armour is he has hasnt been active only having two fights in the last couple of years, sure he has ko chance against anyone, but as soon as The Raging Bull lands the first bomb on his jaw , survival and defence are going to be the only things on his mind.
You have to remember Vic spars boys anywhere from bantamweight to light middle, his manager Elias Nasser has told me they change sparring partners from round to round so Vic's defence is always in check and he is always ready for what anyone is ready to throw at him. And when you talk about sparring partners his team use a huge variety - Lovemore Ndou, Lenny Zappavigna, Vanes Matriosyan, Billy Dib, Dean Livanos, Yhonny Perez, Daniel Ponce de Leon, David Torres the list is endless and world class. And furthermore the BULL is battle hardened going for his fourth fight in less than a year.
GO THE RAGING BULL !!!!!
KO 6 !!!:happy

JULY 11!!!!

Thanks for the tip but we (I) can't wait that long!

I was psyched up for May (from Vic's own words) and then hanging off the internet buzz that suggested June 6!

Oh well, I am still grateful. At least it leaves the door open for another potential fight in Nov or Dec too...!

I don't particularly like his style. He's getting results. I'd have more interest in a fight with Donaire again, than Agbeko though.
