Mine has to be Kittikasen-Jimenez. I thought this was a cracking fight with plenty of action. Jiminez took some bombs in that fight, as did Kittikasen. Anyone got any other suggestions for great Flyweight fights say post 1980?

Gamez vs Woo Yuh (1990, first fight) was a good'un. A highly debatable verdict, though. I scored it 115-113 Gamez. :good

Mine is The first fight between Hussy Hussien Vs Jorge Arce.
Hussy is our local fighter and it was a great war.

You would struggle to beat Bassa/McAuleyI for value for money. If it were a 12 rounder Davey Boy would of been (alphabet) champ two years earlier...

At Junior Fly, I always liked Carbajal/GonzalesI

Sanchez-Nelson at the Garden In the summer of 1982. Sanchez died tragically soon after.

Read the question....:deal;)

Never saw it but would love to have seen Benny Lynch against Peter Kane.

Flyweights look like children. It's like watching a fight in the playground.

I dont think you would want to take too many punches from a " child " like Jimmy Wilde ,he kod men two weights above him.

I wouldn't need to. I'd just put my hand on his forehead and let him swing away. He'd never reach me.

Well he reached quite alot of men stones heavier than himself, what are you 6 foot, around 11 6,Wilde kod bigger men than you in the booths and maybe they were better than you.

Little Jimmy might have been able to beat me up, but I bet he couldn't resist the temptation if I presented to him a big, delicious lollypop.

Sorry mate i have absolutely no idea what "Boxing A-Z" is. I live in the UK, and if it showed Kittikasen vs Jimanez, i want to see this programme! when is it on, what channel? Is it only available in the US?

Sorry Manassa, but it doesn't matter what they look like, it matters what they fight like. If you believe bigger men are better men in boxing, then im sorry, but that is just blatant narrow-mindedness.

It's not narrow mindedness. I'm a very open minded person - I just don't like watching fighters whose gloves reach their elbows. Featherweights are fine - bantamweights are borderline. Flyweights look like weird children and minimumweights look like little clowns. It's like watching a pair of oompa loompas in fast-forward.

 Nice reply. I think we should agree to disagree, i like watching flyweight, strawweight, bloody skeletonweight, so long as it is boxing its got my thumbs up. You obviously don't. Fair play to you for keeping to your opinion.

Since you are including Junior Flyweights.
I would have to say Humberto Gonzalez Vs A thai fighter.
The Thai ko'd Humberto in humberto's last fight.
I watched it at the local inn after the simms fight.
Pretty awesome fight.
