Could happen, he's currently fund raising for a new shed so would probably welcome the publicity:

£105k sounds like a lot? His shed will be worth more than your house...

all these guests - Earnie Shavers, Colin Jones, Lennox Lewis, etc, etc - they all use to be guests on SKY's excellent RINGSIDE programme that use to be on every week in the 1990's.
Excellent programme that was fronted by Paul Dempsey -

No - not my house - maybe the council houses next to it - but my street behind the club is not a council house - its private street -
but I see your point - it must be something good for that kind of money
the shed there now is just a old thing that has "outlived" itself
The article's description of the shed:
The club is currently based in a small concrete and corrugated iron building which Mr Jones said had "outlived its time".

Ringside was OK but they never acknowledged fighters from other networks. Hell, Amir was never even spoke of until they signed him. At least Bunce gives all fighters a shout (even gets them into the studio)
As for an old school fighter.... Naz and Scot Harrison, same show :)

Sorry about the lack of info, anyways , someone posted the Breen Docu etc

Yeah good point - they were poor like that.
also Naz was never invited on any serious boxing shows - like Ringside, etc - or as a studio pundit - his persona was too cartoonish - he would embrass everyone with his childish antics
Notice you never seen him in the studio talking to Paul Dempsey or debating a fight with a panel of pundits like Jim Watt and Barry McGugain.
Not once did he appear on the SKY panel - and look at all the other fighters they have had on over the years
He was more suited to be invited on shows like the Big Breakfast

Jeff Thomas will probably wipe the floor of Bunce. Articulate, been there etc etc
Speaks with the "people" ( us )....... yes Bunce is the same also.
The only thing he would lack is being big and bald ( not a slight on Mr Bunce )
He has a following, be it here or maybe other Forums, i dont know.
All jokes aside, when Bunce is gone, in a make a dream world, who do you see following or handling the mantle , if this is such a case ?
I would certainly be giving Mr Thomas an interview, if i was a head of Setanta.
The bottom line is "what has/does such a person bring to the table?"
A lot

Same, i bought it for the boxing and i have never watched a Bunce hour yet. I like the guy, he is honest from what i see. Just never actually watched one episode. My day off is a Wednesday and i see the threads, yet i never seem to watch or even read the forum regarding it.
I like hearing the stories of old and behind the scenes etc

i think with all the things you pack into an hour on the show, you would be better off extending the show to 2 hours so you could have enough time to get a proper debate going. in the hour you talk about something for two minutes and as soon as it gets intresting that kerr guy jumps in with "moving on, were going to a break". :nono

Barney Eastwood - what does he think of irish and British boxing after he got out of the game, some of his memorable moments/anecdotes - I would love to hear this.
Delroy Spencer - he must be nearly forty and is a diamond.
Gerry Storey - to talk about his philosphy on boxing both the pro and amateur code, and memorable anecdotes over the years
