It isn't confined to the one weight class is P4P#1 status as we both know, the whole point of it is to recognise who the best fighter in boxing is regardless of weight class, so anyone with half a grain of sense should realise that there is no such thing as P4P transferable title on the basis of that alone. It is a ludicrous notion that it can only be won directly in the ring!

I am happy the fight is taking place, however I can't recall say Jermain Taylor claiming to be P4P#1 on the basis of beating Hopkins. It is needless, the fight would sell as it is IMO.
