Besides the De La hoya bout what bout would you consider Sturm at his best?I saw some hls of his bout vs Slyvester and he looked very sharp.Are there any other bouts where he is sharp?I have his bout with Jorge Sendra and he doesn't look all that impressive.And is his bout vs Slyvester worth getting?

The bout with Sylvester (at that time No.4 Ring Mag.) was worth watching. I wanted Sylvester to win because Sturm is an arrogant prick, but Sturm blew him away in that one.

Probably the Sylvester fight was his best, even better than the easy win over DLH.

You are right,bigbone! Had never seen a better fight of Sturm before.

I still dont get it why he wont fight his stable mate Carrerra this upcomming saturday instead of that totally unknown Japanese fighter.
Carrerra vs STurm could have been staged quite easily.
The tough Argie has a proven track record, a recognisable name,and Kohl is his promoter as well.

While the performance against Sylvester was better, considering the circumstances, his fights with DHL was more impressive. DHL was a superstar, Sturm had never fought in the US before, and he was obviously there to be a stepping stone for DHL at middleweight. Sturm showed no nerves or intimidation facing one of the biggest names in boxing and calmly outboxed DHL for much of the fight.

I was impressed by the dlh fight the most to be honest. The way he pumped out that jab made dlh look like a fat amatuer fighter at times. The sylvester fight was a very good performance but i think that seb was overated coming into that fight, bad style match up for him ect... I was actually impressed by the randy griffin rematch, he whipped that boys ass in the rematch after a close fight the first time. Showed good heart to come back and kick ass lke that that. But i think sturm relies way too much on his jab, and once he meets somone that can counter him over the top of it, hell be done. :dead
