Alexander Povetkin(16-0) vs Jason Estrada(15-1)

Francisco Pianeta(18-0) vs Albert Sosnowski(44-2)

One of the most successful heavy weight amateurs of all times against an American rival who -according to many fight fans over there in the states-dishonoured his country and the american squad with his statements after his extremely lacklustre performance at the olympic tournament 4 years ago.
Estrada couldnt hold a candle to Povetkin at the amateurs. In fact,he didnt even dare to cross Povetkin's shadow then.
Nevertheless, the American bigmouth has uttered some bold statements telling everyone that Povetkin will be one of his easier fights
I very much hope that Povetkin wont underestimate that bigmouth!
Povetkin will have egg on his face being in the limelight of world wide discontent with his outing to a ring in a tune up fight if he wont show a convincing performance against Estrada defeating him in impressive fashion.
Povetkin takes a huge risk in facing Estrada in a tune up before he challenges Wlad in the ring.Estrada will fight tooth and nail to enhance his markebilty and secure future paychecks.Very interesting fight. We will see which way the cat alias Povetkin jumps and whether he has the potential to electrify a crowd and rule the roost.

German based Italian heavy weight talent Pianeta hasnt set the world on fire yet.He has collected some decent scalps like Gammer,Marrone,Wiggins,Solomans, and Wilson, but all in all his fight record isnt really that impressive.
His Polish foe Sosnowski certaily has the edge in experience and has made some noise by stopping highly regarded Englishman Danny Williams on English soil some weeks ago.
On the other hand the Pole doesnt pose a brute of problem who hauls his opponents over the coal.Pianeta can beat him,but he will probably have to nail his true colous to the mast in this upcomming fight.Sosnowski is no true european top fighter, but still good enough and cut out for lesser talented opponents who dont put their best foot forward to beat him.A cat in gloves catches no mice!
Pianeta has to leave his comfort zone and mix it up with the Pole.

I talked about Sosnowski. He has poor stamina and he is tired after 7-8 round, but he has good technic, good punch to beat Pianeta by KO. He has a lot of experience, and this fight is his live chance. For me he is better than Pianeta, i think that Sosnowski will win by KO or very close decision.
Estrada is fast boxer, but his punch can't do any damage on Povetkin. Povetkin is on the way to be a world champion, that i think that Povetkin will win by UD.
Sorry for my english again, greetings from Poland :).

Odo, I've got tickets for the Povetkin fight. What I'm wondering what happened to Koc vs Platov which fight was also on that bill originally, but according to boxrec.com is that fight now off. Do you maybe know the status of that fight?

Thanks in advance.

O yeah, I think Povetkin will stop Estrada in about 6 rounds.

This should be a cakewalk for Povetkin. A.P. has way more professional experience than Estrada. Impressive wins over Donald, Byrd and Eddie Chambers with more natural talent than his opponent means Estrada gets a one-sided beatdown. Jason must need the money bad and his body will pay for every red cent.

I am sorry, fcu! Have no idea why Coc vs Platov has been canceled once again.

Coc vs Platov would have been a merciless fight between two stable mates in a true crossroad fight.
