George Foreman
Roy Jones
Lennox Lewis
George Foreman was delusional at times and during Hopkins-Trinidad I wanted someone to punch him in the mouth. Roy Jones had interesting things to say sometimes and was pretty good. Lennox just sucks.
You know who was a very underrated commentator? John Scully. He always made great points about a number of things, told great stories about being a fighter, and wasn't bias. Also his voice wasn't annoying at all, unlike most commentators who have phony ass tv voices to show their "personality".

Max Kellerman is a simpleton.
I was shocked at the level of stupidity that came out of his mouth after the Hatton fight.
Edit: For those of you who don't know, he actually asked Hatton if the guy he was facing was past his best. How the fuck should Hatton know?

Jones out of those. All HBO commentators are bias pricks though.

i like lennox he has a trianers angle on it but he just needs to be a bit more warmed up to it and i think he would be a good commentator.
george was a good speaker and could keep talking non-stop but he just seemed to say the worst things or things that didnt have any revilance.
but roy said stuff from a good angle his take on morales - paquiao when he said he is getting imbarassed infront of a a pac friendly crowed was dead on the money. he said some good things about gatti - robinson was pitch perfect when he was saying he isnt punching he is taking and this is what he wares his opponants down by the opponant tiring after throwing so much.
roy for me then george then lewis but lewis i think could be very good a bit like how manny was.

George Foreman is a serious Trinidad nuthugger, i just watched the Hop-Tito fight and he is very bias towards Tito. "Look at his foot, hes on the ball of his foot!" He must have said it four or five times in one round:lol:

Lol George was crazy came out with some of the strangest things ever, but still some good one liners.
Roy Jones was shit.
Lewis the best probably has the most knowladge and least bias.

I liked them all. Foreman acted stupid sometimes, just trying to make stands on meaningless points to purposely fight with Merchant, but Lennox is really starting to come into his own, and Roy was always good.

Damn!! That was a hard one to pick for me. I like them all, but the only criticizm I could come up with of all 3 is Lennox inabillity to pronounce names correctly. He should practice the names of the fights he is to call for a week before the fight like homework or some shit.

I'm with Big George. You at least knew where George was coming from at all time -- he liked punchers, and was always at his most excitable when we was watching punchers. Beyond the punchers' bias, Big George had charisma and a simpleness that I like moreso than either Roy or Lennox.
Roy was great when it came to technical aspects of the game, Lewis is great in regards to the trainer's mindset.
Steward has yet to be mentioned (he's not a fighter though). I find Steward to offer similar things to Lennox, but he's always mentioning how he knew the outcome long before the fight was over. I find Steward annoying for the most part.
All credit to Lennox for his new calling card -- ITS OVAHHH!!!!

Yes very good team there, but I enjoy Lampley-Merchant-Steward too.
Although I've seen some posters call Steward bias one way or the other, his comments and analysis are usually spot on and easy to see what he means.

Foreman, Jones then Lewis.
Based solely on how many times they told Larry to shut the fuck up when he was talking out of his ass.

Ive liked Lewis a long time but he's too uptight behind the mic still. And too nice. Foreman was an asshole but at least he didnt take any shit from Merchant.

I liked Foreman up until the Hopkins-Trinidad fight, after that fight I watched Ali-Foreman again just to watch him get knocked out.

Its not a competition - Jones.
They are supposed to call on their experience and give a technical analysis. Jones does it best.
