Wonder how much Margarito himself knew of the scam? Wouldn't have been hard for him to see things weren't looking 'normal' as they wrapped him though.

I agree 100%. Fighting for a living is a tough sport without having fuckers cheat. Don't think for a second that he didn't load his hands up for the cotto bout either. Great work from Naz Richardson, who also in the past made tito trinidad rewrap his suspect hands before the hopkins fight. Look at both outcomes, speaks volumes. I'm glad marg got the flogging he deserved from mosley.

So what happens with Cotto Now? Do you think Cheato used plaster against him? If so, you think he will admit to that? If he does admit to it what happens then? Is the same as with drugs, ie. results becomes a NC? Can Cotto once again have an undefeated record?

This is the tragic side of a culture of "win at all costs".
Margirito could have killed an opponent or smashed his own hands but Capitillo would have just moved on.
Giving them 1 year is an indictment on the integrity of the commission.
What he did was a dangerous filthy act. They should have been banned for life & the reasons should be attached to every boxing register, just so that all those fighters that lost to these bastards can get some comfort that they were fighting fucking cheats.
For mine, this commission has adopted a "There's money in Margirito so we'll keep him around" disgraceful acceptance of this affair.
Arum leaves plenty to be desired as well.
The dollar worship is sickening.
