Minimum British champion IMO.... maybe more if that skin holds up.

I remember watching him in the ABA final in 2004 I think it was and thought he was amazing back then. Does anyone know why he never made it more on the international scene as an amateur? Don't remember him going to the Commonwealths or being in any olympic qualifying teams.

Definately not a bantamweight, he's probably a feather at least.

He reminds me a little of Augie Sanchez... Very good poise. Nice tidy style.

What does everyone think of Bradley Evans?

A little too early to tell how he'll fair, but he looks pretty decent against Sid Razak.

see what u mean, hopefully he has a better chin than Augie. Although the cuts situation is worrying, was Hatton told not to box due to his skin when he turned pro?

Yeah 19 year old ABA champion I believe, or finalist or something, then turned pro a short while after. His first fight was against the tough Brumie journeyman Sid Razak, he won 3 of the 4 rounds on the judges scorecards, and drew the other one. Was on the Big Fight Live Review on IT4 a couple of weeks ago. Think it may have orginally been on the Elcock-Macklin bill.

like the look of this kid...beat Kevin mitch, and Steven smith in the Am's,don't no how far he will go though ...think hes got a problem with delicate skin.

Although the cuts situation is worrying, was Hatton told not to box due to his skin when he turned pro?I'd imagine any plastic surgeon would advise for a career other then boxing. Hattons cut problem was solved by a better diet and oil of ulay....:D
