I read reports today that Frank ****** has been speaking to both camps with regards a fight on June 27th.

Who would win in either fight?? Who should Khan look at fighting out of the 2?

Personally I think Diaz instead of Valero - but as with any Khan fight now I think its a coin flip situation as he seems a better "boxer" but one decent shot can destroy him at any point!

At least he's interesting to watch.....compared to Povetkin last night!!! I hope Haye sparks him out too.....

David Diaz would be my firm bet out of the two.

I can't see ****** or Roach letting Khan anywhere near Valero.

He might as well fight anyone because there is always the possibility that he can get hurt. I'd go for david diaz because hes a strong lighweight and does not get stopped easily. Also he punches with less power and speed.

theres no way in hell ******s putting his biggest draw in there with a guy whos won every fight by ko,david diaz is a winnable fight for khan though.

I'd go with Diaz. He's so slow that Khan should box rings around him without being in range to get hurt.

Valero is bad news for him imo. Although wild, I feel that over the course of 12 rounds he will be able to land and when he does, Khan will be on queer street.

Valero would knock him the fuck out.

agree much the same as most,,
putting khan in with a knockout artist like valero would be a highly risky move,
in fact putting khan in with any big puncher would be a crazy move at the moment, but how else would he progress?
diaz seems the wiser fight of the two,but still 'diaz' experience of boxing marquez automatically makes his chances good against khan.
amir's still relative inexperienced against a great fighter (without an horiffic cut!).
i admire khan greatly but have massive worries about those reappearing jelly legs!!

Diaz would be the better option, but I don't see Khan beating either.

The fighter being mentioned as a possible opponent is David Diaz, not Juan Diaz.

Juan Diaz would beat the hell out of Khan.

David Diaz might not.

David Diaz yes, he struggled against the speed of pacquiao but he is a tough game pro and would be a good win for Khan at this stage of his career, Dangerous to the very last second of any fight but ultimately very beatable for Khan.

As for Valero, he is to be avoided like the plague.

I think it would be Diaz out of the 2. And that is a very winnable fight for Khan.

As for Valero as everyone else has said i cant see Fwank letting Valero anywhere near his meal ticket.

I'd say Fwank is just saying 'oh it's going to be Diaz or Valero' to try and get some of the gullible boxing public to bite on the idea that Khan would be let anywhere near Valero.

Diaz is the only one they might even think of letting Khan in with. They aren't even dreaming of letting him in with Valero because he'd get banjoed big style

I think we are approaching the point in time in which Khan steps up, gets beat, and fades into obscurity.

David Diaz is an easy fight for Khan and he can say that he beat a recent world titlist. Slow and feather fisted = no way he can beat Khan. I don't think it's a fight that proves much other than a step up in class, I guess.

Like others have said, all this Valero talk is just for show. Even if Freddie Roach thinks he's horrible, Khan's people know that another quick KO would be devastating.

David Diaz isn't really big enough for PPV, it will have to be a bigger name or for a world title.

Valero would absolutely murder Khan. I'm going to agree with most of you and say that Diaz is next.

Yes he has been mentioned but again in the same vein as Valero, I think Khan would lose badly to Katsidis and very badly to Valero who is a monster :yep

I would not make too much of ****** mentioning a possible Khan-Valero match.

Valero was impressive last night. We all know that he's a KO artist, but I don't think there were many, if any at all, who saw a second round KO as the result!

Valero would hurt Khan. If Khan loses again, especially if its anythnig similar to that of his first & only defeat to date, there really is no way back for commodity Khan!

Khan would have the edge in handspeed, but Valero is by no means slow. I actually think moving up to LW has helped Valero & he might even hit harder now. It was rumoured he was having real difficulty making 130lbs, hence the move up! Valero certainly looked a sharper puncher last night!

I think Valero will become a more rounded & complete fighter, improve with each outing. I don't think he would give Khan a chance to get into any kind of rhythm. Once he hurt Khan, he would not let him off the hook!

In saying that, I think it would be a unwise move putting Khan in with Valero.

Prescott was much, much less known than Diaz and they still made that fight a PPV.

If Khan fights Diaz, they'll find a way to prop him up as a dangerous ex-champ who's a huge step up in class.
