Tough one to call, but Nigel Benn was the man who got me interested in boxing when I saw him spark out Ian Chantler on tv when I was 7 years old.
Although he's not exactly a pound for pound ATG, I was always a big fan of Michael Ayers too.

Don't feel so bad young Ishy.
Just think of all those wonderful boxers you'll be watching after the rest of us have died.

Don't forget the bit about No.1 ATG Amir Khan unifying titles in five different weight divisions; the kid will need to hear about that one.

Nope, Amir Khan is going to end up the boxing equivelent of the pictures they put on a packet of Tobacco of rotting teeth and dead ass men.
In the distant future posters of him will be placed around gyms all over the country as motivation.
This is how not to build your career :good

Craig Bellamney had to get his rotting teeth capped - just to be allowed to hang around in Khans social circle
