It's official they will fight on the undercard and i'm suprised that berto's team is taking this fight, because i see estrada beating berto and possibly by tko or ko.

TKO for Estrada after he knocks Berto down a second time in a round.
Great test though for Berto. If he beats Estrada, I'll start giving him respect.

Great fight...should be very exciting. I like Berto in this fight, but I'm not too confident in this prediction.
Estrada will give Berto troubles for the first half of the fight and then he will get caught. I wont call Berto the real deal just yet, but he is real enough to beat this guy.

Man I just cant see that, but I do think Estrada is a good fighter.

I agree with you, I think Estrada is going to win. Did you know that Berto's brother is a Jiu Jitsu specialist in MMA?
Maybe if boxing doesn't work out for Andre, he could use his fast hands in a style that would work for that sport, because I don't think A. Berto has a bright future in boxing.
Oh well, at least he gives it his all.
Berto by KO. Estrada will wilt after a while.

Yeah he got KOed by KJ Noons it was a decent fight. Anyway Estrada by desisve victory maybe even KO this guy has a iron chin he took alot of punishment in the war with Cintron before finally going down plus he gave Sugar Shane a decent fight. Berto is no Cintron or Shane.

I agree, Estrada is one of those really dangerous gate keeper/fringe contenders that is both avoided and mismanaged, with the right management he'd have been a top contender. Kid's got a hell of a chin(that means a lot coming from me) and he's got some pop also.
I didn't see Noons/Berto, I was just stating that maybe Andre trains in BJJ also and if boxing doesn't work out, that he could give MMA a shot. We don't currently have any 'elite' boxer level hand strikers in MMA, so it'd be cool to see how it worked out if he did come over and built himself up.

classic fight: one has the talent but an iffy whisker.....the other guy has no talent, just conditioning and toughness.

Berto has the type of vulnerability that Estrada can exploit, such as a shaky jaw and slow recovery abilities. He nearly got stopped by Rivera, who's not a puncher and he didn't have Rivera seriously in trouble at any point, showing that his power is not what it is heralded as(I've said this all along).
Whether you like it or not Cappy, you're boy Berto is losing this one. However, you're other guy Pavlik is one that I am convinced will be the lineal MW champion after starching Taylor, so you'll have that one to prop up.

Yeah I watched him end a bout with an ankle lock after like 18 seconds. It was crazy. Then Andre jumps up on the apron to celebrate.
I was like I knew he looked familiar.

First of all, when he was knocked down by Rivera, it was a flash knockout. It almost seemed as if Berto was bored by his opponent or frusterated with himself for not performing to his and viewers expectations.
Berto got up quickly, and if he was seriously hurt or detered, he would not have continued his relentless onslaught in the closing rounds.
Berto didn't have Rivera in trouble because Berto decided to play headhunter. Much to Berto's dismay, Rivera can take a hell of a punch. The outcome would have been different if Berto decided to go to Rivera's body.
Berto is a solid fighter who learns from his mistakes. Anyone picking against Berto should reevaluate their position.
Berto will win this won and in a crowd pleasing, convincing way.
This is his second chance to shine in front of a large audience. He'll show up.

Berto needs to look good in this fight. A lot of the hype surrounding him disappeared after his last fight. Estrada is a good test for him right now. If Berto wants to get his name mentioned with all the other big guys at welter he needs to look good this time. I think he will and probably stops Estrada in the second half of a good fight. Nice HBO card that night.

Solid chin, but a glass body if there was even such a thing. Ishe Smith was hurting him to the body (head too) regularly, and Mosley had him hurt twice in the 4th round of their fight with body shots.
Anyway, I'ma favor Berto by close decision.

Berto is gonna destroy Estrada who is too dumb to do what Cosme Rivera did and RUN. Estrada will fight in front of Berto and that's why he's gonna get knocked out.
Anyone picking Estrada is a dumbass.

Would love to see Berto in MMA. If he could master his sprawl and takedown defence he would be very hard to stop.
