i will be there in november, and if kessler wins i'll hold my hands up and admit he was the better man, and if joe schools him i expect the danes (the ones that hang around :D ) and kessler fans to do the same.

The funny thing about calzaghe he was practically an unknown champ for like 10 years until he beat lacey now hes god in some people eyes

Unless Calzaghe looses dramatically he will be fine because a rematch will be on the cards and the SMW division has a very bright future, there will be so many guys to fight (assuming some will put on 7lbs) that even if he did lose to a great contender like Kessler he could still land a mega-fight.

i've been following the guy since the eubank fight, many joe fans for a lot longer. he has a dedicated fanbase that have stuck with him, and now we are getting the superfights :cool:

I guess the reason is because the 2 fighters he fought that were any good were chris eubank and maybe lacey who is probably the biggest name fighter he fought in his career which is pretty sad for him being a champ and all

Well , He gets written off as the over protected fraud that allot of people think he is !

I'm afraid that will be the popular opinion on these boards anyway. It is not only JC's biggest fight, but he has the EXTRA added pressure of if he loses everyone will most certainly be calling his whole career a big joke (which would be unfair, even if his resume isn't the strongest out there)..

You are maybe rigth, but it is not fair. The problems on this board is that a looser is shit, tomatoe can and so on, trying to take the glory
from the winner.
