what would do you think would happen if they fought...
the younger one was faster, maybe hit harder, but worse stamia and more crude
older was more techical, better jab,but overweight but had better stamia
and bigger....
would the younger one blast the out one fast or would the more crafty and bigger older one outstmart the younger one and win
i pick the younger one but not in an easy fight

The foreman that fought Holyfield, was in good shape.
And looked slight stronger than 1970's foreman.

It would be a masacre.
The prime Foreman would turn the older version inside out.
Comeback Foreman was good but he wasnt that good.

I'm going to go against the grain here: The older Foreman who beat Moorer would defeat the younger Foreman who beat Frazier, 4-3, in a best of 7 series...in my opinion. I believe the older George's steadier mental state, better skills, and more experience would slightly overcome the younger George's advantages of youth, in 7 head to head matchups.

The young Foreman would eventually punch himself out making the old Foreman look like the stay puft marshmallow man, before smothering the young Foreman and knocking him out with a slow motion clubbing righthand. :p

Fully agree......:D Foreman at age 42 and 257 pounds was buffed and strong as an Ox in 1991........ Yes, a we bit slower, but still capable and powerful....

I agree. The young Foreman was better physically in every department, and contrary to popular opinion, I think the young Foreman had better stamina. THe problem was he just didn't know how to really pace himself; the old version of George didn't have any choice but to fight slow. No contest fight!

And he got completely massacred. I think old Foreman gets overrated just a tad.

Buffed? Are you kidding? Did you notice the rolls of fat around his midsection and his flabby teets? If that's buff I'd hate to see what fat would be considered? Sam Peter looked better at 257 than George did, and Peter's about 3" shorter!

Comebacking Foreman was a mammoth but overated in my opinion. Young Foreman would absolutely batter him and finish him off in about 6.

Young Foreman would do a demolition job not only on his elder version, but Morrison and Holyfield as well. I don't know why anybody would claim otherwise.

Not really, He is very fat with flab over his muscle. The word Buff is not described in that picture.

I'd pick old foreman to beat young foreman. The young foreman would have tried to blast out old foreman but fail to do so. he be running out of steam after 5 or 6 rounds. Meanwhile old foreman would patiently wait for the right oportunity and eventually stop him somewhere in the 9th round.
Prime foreman didn't pace himself well and this would cost him.

He's more like an NFL lineman in build. Buffed would be like Holyfield or Jimmy Thunder or Frank Bruno....Frank Bruno was not much lighter than Foreman for a lot of his fights, but his weight was carried totally different.

Foreman was in-shape for Holy..... No dude who is age 42 and outta shape is going 12 rds with a peak Holy in a fight..... Foreman took some wicked shots from Holy as well...... Foreman was fine at 257 pounds, but 245 would've served him better in the 1990s.......... Had Foreman dropped back down to 230 pounds, he'd have been drained and weak at his age..... Christ, Foreman was 235 for Qawi in 1988, and Foreman said he didn't feel right there......

I agree with you that he was in-shape against Holyfield, but I can't see how he was in optimum shape. How can an athlete be in optimal shape with 30 pounds of excess flab on his body? All that weight has to be moved around, carried, supported, etc. Aside from being a sumo wrestler or a strong man contestant, excess body weight has to negatively affect cardiovascular functioning and stamina; fat is dead weight! Foreman was in good shape, but I bet he would have performed better - especially against a fast-punching, quick, explosive-type fighter like Holyfield - if he were around 235.
