For most of his career the point about fighting overmatched opposition with the protection of Ricky would be absolutely valid.

I have to say though I've been impressed by Matthew Hatton more of late.

Interesting fight. Think it would be quite close but Jennings would be able to box enough and work enough to win a UD.

Yeah he beat Bami well but thats it. Why the isn't Watson getting these chances seeing as he mad Hatton look average (at best)

It must be terrible, being Ricky Hatton's brother...and less talanted.

I have been more impressed with Hatton jr of late, and don't see why he couldn't beat Jennings.

I also feel he could beat Jennings looking at his recent improvement - 50/50 fight for me.

No chance. Jennings schools him, but this fight wont happen. Yet anyway.
The Hattons are tryin to line 'magic' up for a shot at the IBO belt, possibly against S.African, Mwelase. Mathew is nowhere near world class. The top domestic boys would all have too much for Hatton. Brook, Jennings, Watson, and Mark Thompson. And thats just 4 names from the central area alone, which pretty much sums up where he stands in the world scene.
