Curry would of been a fight for everyone in history

He was still very good when mccallum ko'd him. You can't take credit away from the body snatcher, it was a greatly timed punch.

Curry was boxing great in that fight before that punch

My prediction at 154 in 1986 -87: Hearns KO 10

Hearns on points. Mccallum was a great body puncher, that why he ko'd cuury. hearns wouldn't of been able to find those opening because of his height but he would of outboxed donald behind his jab

Every ordinary skilled fighter should copy donald curry. he was a dream idol for trainers all over the world to teach there boxers

curry was crazy wicked in his prime .. should have been a super fight for hagler instead of mugabi .. but i guess he just got drained out and lost to honeyghan ..

hearns was bad ass but he was just leggy .. a couple good shots to his jaw or temple he gets wobbley ... you just never know putting him head to head with other greats

Hearns' power is too much for Curry. I think Curry would be served fighting Hearns inside, and he'd have to take some heavy artillery getting there, thats for sure. Curry has excellent ability from the outside, but Hearns' height and reach combined with his lightning fast jab would mean Curry would come off second best from long range. Hearns' would have to be patient while breaking up Curry's defense, as his high guard picked off punches very well. Curry kept his elbows tucked in tightly as well to defend bodyshots.

Hearns KO8

Hearns is Curry's worst nightmare. I'd be looking for an early night here, anywhere in the first 3 or 4.

Despite the fact that Hearns was never outboxed? Bold predicition as I think Curry's only chance is to stop Tommy. However, I see Tommy stopping Curry anywhere between rounds 3 to 8. Curry doesn't have the granite chin needed to resist Hearns at probably his best weight.

Easily outboxing McCallum???

He was barely outboxing McCallum. It wasn't easy, and it was draining.

The words outbox and Hearns do not belong in the same sentence unless talking about him outboxing someone.

No one "outboxes" The Hitman.

Curry outbox Hearns?. Not a chance. Not only did Hearns' have an excellent jab, but he was also very busy with it. As I said in my earlier post on this thread, Curry would look to fight Hearns' inside, with right hands bouncing off his head in the process. He was superb inside, certainly better than Hearns. If anyone tries to tell me Hearns was better inside than Curry, then its just as ridiculous a statement as Curry outboxing Hearns.

Once Hearns lands properly, it'll spell the beginning of the end. KO inside 6. Curry can't beat Thomas.
