Calzaghe is supernatural, we surely are guilty of underrating him. Even CHJ.

It's a good thing Kessler isn't Japanese. "Slap a Jap" has not been socially acceptable for over sixty years now.

My hand speed will be too much for him on the night and I love fighting orthodox European boxers, it suits me down to the ground.

Calzaghe also went to cheer on Alex Arthur against Gogoladze...

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

And according to Arthur he became mates with Gomez after the fight...

"But it wasn't all negative. Michael Gomez [who stopped Arthur in five rounds at Meadowbank in 2003] has become one of my biggest fans and phones me nearly every week to advise and encourage me.
"Gomez [pictured below] not only told me that I'm the best fighter and hardest puncher that he ever fought, but also that he believes I have nothing to fear from Barrera should I fight him next year for the world title.
"In addition, Michael is aware of my acting ambitions and, as they are about to make a movie of Gomez's life, I could make my acting debut in that.''

But it gets better he refers to Ricky Hatton as his mate...

"Arthur revealed: "I've just concluded a sponsorship deal with the Lonsdale boxing equipment company and I will be modelling boxing gear in their new catalogue where I will be joining my world champion mate from Manchester, Ricky Hatton, in modelling photoshoots.

Wow i find that hard to believe unless Gomez is a two faced snake, i use to see Gomez quite alot prior to this year and he fucking despied Arthur saying he owed him 40k from a side bet they had, mybe they made it up in last six months but he really hated him.

Calzaghe should use John Matrix quotes from Cammando but Instead of kill say slap when he talks about how he''ll pimp Kessler.

Calzaghe is in for a BIG surprise.................

What is Kessler going to gift wrap the WBC and WBA belts with fancy wraping paper. A[Only registered and activated users can see links] that would be a nice gesture.

a lot of brit-fightfans,think that kessler is "another jeff lacy".

Kessler needs to reset before he launches a his offence so Calzaghe will need to swarm him but this will make Calzaghe vulnerable to a counter down the middle. A really interesting fight!

Calzaghe is fast no doubt but he slaps totally squared up so if he gets drilled down the middle I would not be surprised - he got away with it with Lacy because Lacy did not jab but guaranteed Kessler will as soon as Calzaghe opens up - its just a matter if Calzaghe is too fast and keeps Kessler of balance with his footwork

No matter how you read it....... Kessler by my understanding has only lost 2 or 3 rounds in his whole Professional career.

You would be hard pressed to find any boxer with a better record.:good

Kessler fans always say he has hardly lost a round as a pro. What does that say about the level of his opposition?!!..... my bets are he loses at least 8 versus Calzaghe.

Didn't he lose 4 Vs Mundine?

On one Andrade scorecard he lost 1 round too.:deal

I don't really think you are interested in the truth (unless it makes Kessler look bad), but since you did ask, I'll answer.
Kessler lost 4 rounds against Mundine on one scorecard (so much of your post was kind of right:lol: ), a second scorecard had him losing 3 rounds and 2 rounds a draw, on the final scorecard, which was ridiculous, he won all the rounds.

Regarding Andrade, it seems like you remember what you wish to remember, but the fact is that all three scorecards read 120-108, so he did not lose a round.;)

I don't think Calzaghe is in for a big surprise, I'm sure he knows that Kessler is not another Lacy-fight waiting to happen, but some of Calzaghes dumbest fans are on the other hand in for a big surprise.:yep

It only counts as a lost round in my books if 2 out of 3 judges award the round.......which only occured twice.

I am pretty certain that with Andrade..... Using the same criteria..... That all rounds went to Kessler. :good
