Crane is gassed at this point. Lucky to survive round 2.

Huerta utilizes the big screen at the arena to see where Crane's head is, to elbow Crane in the head, who's on Huerta's back! Ref stomp the fight shortly after, Huerta wins.
Thats AWESOME huerta using the big screens to elbow behind his back!

GSP took KOS down without a problem. Round 2 GSP worked the kimura several times and kept KOS on hi sback most of the round. Round 3 GSP dominated the stand up. KOS grabbed a leg and pushed for a takedown. GSP stuffed and reversed for guard. GSP gnp'd for the rest of the round. UD

is it true? realy?
Is Randy Couture better than he's ever been, or is it just me? His striking is really good now. His wrestling, as always, is great. His cardio seems better. And he WALKED through a Gonzaga head kick. That's why I always say on paper it looks like Randy is done for, but you can't bet against the guy. He just does spectacular things. There's no rhyme or reason for it. The guy just wins when he needs to.

Couture had already battered Gonzaga and completely stole his heart before that 3rd round. As soon as Gonzaga saw Randy eat up that head kick like a soft jab, it was over. Randy then moved in and finished him as Gonzaga was completely beaten, spent, and broken.
Mayweather KO in the 5th
Pavlik KO in the 8th

Randy had to win that fight twice, that was fucking bullshit.
You can't call time out in fucking MMA bignose.
Hatton gonna try to smother him by the 4th PBF gonna find range and punish him (hate to say it) and Taylor being gunshy these past handful of fights is gonna get caught and finally beat right up. I can't wait for that fight!

Great night of fights. For me anyway. Just got home from watching the fights. I am thrilled that GSP won, excellent game plan that was executed to near perfection. It makes me very happy to see Kos lose, I cant stand that guy, and I am a big fan of St. Pierre.
Props to Cote for his best performance in the UFC to date.
Props to Huerta for a very good performance, even if his opponent was clearly overmatched. His ground skills were very impressive.
Great fight by Randy Couture too, it was the only fight tonight that I was wrong about in my predictions, but I cant say I am disappointed by the outcome. Full credit to Randy, it is very hard to dislike this guy. Cant wait to see him defend his tilte again.
Also cant wait wait to see GSP kick the shit out of either one of Hughes or Serra.

I wouldn't say he's terrible on the ground, he avoided numerous submission attempts against a very good JJ fighter.

Yea but it was kinda obvious that he had almost no technique on the ground. No doubt that results were fine but if he fights a better BJJ guy i think he might get caught in a sub.

I thought his defence on the ground was very good against a guy who has a strong background in bjj, and he did a good job of controlling his opponent on the ground. Crane did appear to tire early, and was defintely not as strong as Huerta, but I was still impressed by Huertas overall performance. He now has 5 wins in the ufc, I hope they step up the levlel of his competition soon. I dont see why they wouldnt.

Huerta in terms of skill is terrible on the ground. Strength isn't everything when it comes to knowing how submit someone or stay away from submitions.
