taylor was one of the few boxers i hated more than mundine but im starting to warm to the guy.his antics amuse me. he must really need the money. first mundine now green at LHW.i give him no chance but i am rooting for him if this fight eventuates.

Taylor looked a bit round at MW against Mundine.....lets face it for a pro fighter he had a gut.........how will he go with another 10 or 12 pounds on him :huh
I can see Taylor giving Green a hard time with some low blows and the like for 5 rounds before Taylor gets KTFO.

Taylor wanna keep his tiny mind on the job, although a Thai fighter, Kiatchai Singwancha is 26 and has a fair bit of boxing under his belt.
He is getting ahead of himself here.
Did anyone see him lose (Kiatchai Singwancha) to Chad Bennett or Lovemore Ndu??
Wanting to fight 3 divisions higher, he'll look like an Arreoli mini me with little bitch boobs!!

Its very presumptious of you to assume that your opinion is of the majority. I think most people would agree with me.

I think the first fight was very close maybe 1 round in it either way....however I did think Mundine won the 3rd by 3 or 4 rounds

I think the point is missed by most.
Green vs Taylor at LH/W in Aug 2009.... maybe, maybe not.
Either way, if Green takes this bout, Shannon Taylor ir right in calling Green a sook. Why the fuck would Green, a retired LH/W champ, in making a comeback consider a fight with Shannon Taylor at LH/W????? Especially after the months that have elapsed since Taylor faught Mundine at M/W.
Green is a pretender in doing so... if he does at all. Mundine had the balls to drop weight, and fight Taylor... it was a dull encounter anyway. Green is proposing to fight ST at LH/W, Greens natural weight. (better weight).
Who's the sook??? Who's the pretender???
I hope Taylor kicks Greens arse until its Blue. Regardless, Team Green is no better than Team Khoder if this fight goes ahead.
Far worse in fact.
"I'm the only bloke in Australia that can beat Mundine"... What a load of shit.
Mundines the only bloke in Australia with the ability to generate income for Green.

Surely Green doesn't have many fans left now. He is just as bad as Mundine but he does it acting like a typical "Aussie bloke". F#ck you Danny Green. Even though Taylor has zero chance at 175 against Green, i will be supporting him and i'm sure most boxing fans will.
The journalist that wrote the newspaper article posted at the start of the thread must have written it as a joke surely. They stated that Talyor pushed Mundine the whole way in their recent 12 round fight.I didn't realise that losing every round easily and being totally outclassed and schooled was pushing a boxer the whole way in a fight.Brilliant journalism.

lots of sooks on here don't worry about green or taylor.
green has said nothing, taylor wants him as he knows its his last payday.
how has green got anything to do with this.
taylor deserves to be beat up if he is dumb enough to challenge him.
no one is making him go to light heavy.

If Green can KO Taylor early it will give momentum to the Mundine VS Green fight.....Green will go on about how he stopped Taylor and Mundine wont have the power or the guts to face him at LHW

Australian boxing is hitting new lows every week.
Mate, entertainment boxing is different from competitive boxing.
The vast majority of people that go to Mundines fights wouldn't have a clue about "Rings" ratings & the pecking order of competitive boxing.
Even the true blues that go, have a greater interest in the undercard, or to catch up with mates, because they know that entertainment boxing has a record of 99.9% predictability. I say 99.9% because there's always a punchers chance.
I have no interest in these fights, other than any peculiarity that may have happened during them.
What is written up about these fights is chook feed because it's all about fowl play & fowl (sic) behaviour.
:deal BS :yep
Mind you, such is the poor competitiveness of these fights, without this hype & BS, the chook feeders (Press) wouldn't bother attending, because if you believe the censorship of of the sporting press "Nobody is interested in competitive boxing in Australia, only entertainment boxing"
They'ld know, right? :nutcase:piss

if it happens it runs the risk of being a very, very ugly fight. Danny isn't always the cleanest fighter, and shannon has tuned into a spoiler, not a fighter. It might shake out some ring rust for Danny, but will do little to prepare him for other LHW's

Regardless of whatever the personal opinions are on these two guys, surely no one in there right mind could expect this bout to be competitive.
If Green wants Taylor out of there inside 2 rounds that's exactly what will happen.
Hopefully this farce dosen't eventuate.

I knew the farce of mandy/taylor at 160 would happen. I know the taylor/green at 175 will happen. Oz boxing is a circus when mandy & green work the public. A mate of mine recently said lets go down & see the next mandy/geale fight at Brisbane, $175 a ticket. I said its not Hagler V Hearns we're talking about.

And good luck to him. Seems to have been screwed over by a certain prick.

Well I don't think Taylor was/is a worthy opponent for either guy. Green used to be my favourite aussie boxer but he's reading the Mundine script word for word now. Washed up opponents, $50 PPV prices, the huge hype jobs.. Eugh I'll spend my money on Vic and Kat from now on.
