It's only about 6 months ago that people were criticising Hatton for talking about a fight with Pac and the only person who saw it as a legitimate contest was JonOli who used to post their body dimensions to support his point. People used to say it would prove nothing and Hatton wouldn't get any credit, because he'd be be beating up on a smaller guy.

So now why are people making Pacquiao favourite and saying he has everything to lose?

Pac are now realising how good PAC is and how Hatton is'nt.

Just having a look back though and one established post on this forum said this....

As for Pacquiao, brave but cannon fodder.

Can you really go from cannon fodder to favourite in such a short time?

This person also said that by fighting Pac, Hatton would be 'holding the division hostage' by not taking on bigger threats from the 140 division.

Did Hatton lose a limb between then and now?

bigger threats at 140? The division has a few ok fighters then Hatton and now the genius Khan.

Not sure why the change in how people view Pac as come about.

Pac Is a former Flyweight champ and Is one of the most limited elite boxers I've seen. Hatton will pummel him all over the ring and If It was staged In Britain, I would hope the BBBoc refuse to allow It.

Pac-Hatton won't even be close. A small feather who likes to come forward against a light welter who likes to come forward.

hatton crushes manny, brutally. it's a mismatch that pacman can't and won't win.

This guy ^^ also reckoned that Witter would be better for Hatton's legacy than Pac....

Roll up, if the quote's yours, come and claim it.

I got bored after looking through a few threads (those Witter - Hatton debates were so tedious)

Pac beat a mediocre lightweight and a comatose welterweight and people are deeply deeply stupid.

Short answer is that the Diaz and Oscar fights changed a lot of peoples minds about Pacs abilities above 130.

Given the calibre of opponent pac has beaten throughout his career i suppose he has to be regarded as the favorite. Still reckon Hatton is capable of knocking him out though, and thats where my money will be going.

i always thought people on here thought that hatton was stupid for taking the fight cos HE would get twated not pac,i may have read it wrong though

go GF and they nearly all suck pacs plums real hard and fast.
as the fight gets closer people seem to be leaning hattons way though.

That's what they think now. Prior to the Diaz fight you could get roundly derided for even mentioning the possibility of the match up, as it was seen as such a mismatch in Hatton's favour.

yep you right mate,i remember watching the pac DLH fight and my mate saying 'hatton wants to keep well away from him',but now he is changing his mind, but thats what we do,we see someone fight and think 'wow,he's fucking awsome',then watch him again in his next fight and say 'fuck me he is shit'
