2 of my favourite fighters, Ram got his ribs broke last time & beat cleanly & destructively but this time there are no soccer kicks or stomps (which makes me angry if truth be told, a fights a fight) & its a few yrs later, I think its gonna be a much closer fight.
Might go the distance this time I think unless its for the title (5 rds)

Two of my favourite fighters. I haven't really thought about it much, but I think Rampage would do much better this time. He has improved since then, while Shogun has looked bad up until the Chuck fight. Would be a great clash.

I really think it all depends on Shogun`s stamina, it looked good vs Chuck but you cant be 100% because it only went 1 round.

Rampage is so strong & hard to break... BUT, he CAN be broke, Ive never seen Shogun stunned, he takes a great shot.

Anything less than the Rua of old & Rampage gets revenge... if Rua is at his best I dont see any LHWT in the world besting him, not even an on song Rampage.

Very interesting fight, would be a good title fight if both had eliminated everyone else at 205... which is defo not far fetched IMO.

If Lyoto beats Rashad, it would be one hell of an eliminator for a shot at him.

Now that Rampage has refined his boxing I think he has a chance to KO Rua. His counter punching is excellent for a mixed martial artist and Shogun's shots are looping, with his hands down as he comes in. He manages to keep his chin tucked in though aswell as taking a good shot.

It's very close IMO.

Yea I see choppin leg kicks and then Muay Thai clinch work again. As long as Rua has the gas, which I'm hoping he is finally healthy and his cardio is better.

I'm sure most of you said the same **** about Wanderlei v Rampage

I'm not so sure about that. Wandy has been in MANY a wars and I'm sure that most people knew this long before the last Wandy/Rampage fight. Don't kid yourself Shogun is not shot like Wandy is/was.

same as the last rampage-wand fight

I don't think Shogun is ready yet to face Rampage, his still a bit slower than what he use to be, and that split second is the difference between a win and a loss. I have to give the edge to Rampage, I feel his more disciplined and has aged better, versus Shogun who has regressed significantly from his best.

Both are very good.....but both can come into fights out of shape so its a toss up on who wants it more.

It's hard to call, because if shogun fights like has in the past it could be very bad for Rampage.
