View Full Version : 'Froch v Taylor II' What happens....?
How do you think it would play out?
Would Carl feel far more confident after overpowering Jermain in such a dramatic fashion and free him up to perform to a higher standard.
Maybe finish Taylor quicker?
Or would Jermain make corrections in his preparations and not go toe to toe in the later rounds.
Does he now know what Froch has and can stick to a gameplan to get the win
I actually think Froch would do a better job second time around.:!:

The way a tired and almost beaten Froch stepped up a level and demolished Taylor will have left some psychological damage.
Taylor vs Froch 2 would be like Taylor vs Pavlik 2, with Taylor fighting within himself and worrying about gassing.
Froch wins on points by 3 or so rounds.

I don't know.
Both fighters could make improvements, and it might just depend on which one makes the better improvement.

I don't think Taylor could possibly fight better than he did against Froch first time round, whilst Carl still has plenty of room for improvement.
Taylor would be beaten before he even got to the ring....

Jermaine Taylor needs to make it a 2-3 round fight.
Just got nuts for 2-3 rounds, because inside with his combinations Carl Froch cannot cope.
I said it time and time again, when Jermaine Taylor become's static and inactive.."thats when he gets beat".
He does have a stamina problem...
Just not built for endurance, more short intense action..
Jermaine Taylor..

First thing's first Froch needs a rest. The Pascal fight was a ridiculous war and the Taylor was tough both mentally and physically. If they do meet again I think Froch will (have to) be more saavy in the way he fights him. The fight would be in the UK I reckon so I could see Froch being on it a bit more and stopping JT in between rds 8-10.

Froch would stop him earlier this time around. Like I said from the outset any match between the two will ultimately come down to who wants it most and that is gonna be Froch every time.

Froch immediately offered a rematch apparently - with is pretty fair of him I guess.

Fat Mick put the kibosh on that in the press conference.
He bandied about Bute or Kessler I think.....

Punching stalkers tend to do better in rematches. I agree.

I would love to see a rematch take place in Nottingham and would favour Froch by some style for a good KO mid round.

That would be suicide. I thought you liked Taylor why would want to him get destroyed exchanging inside with the cobra. Christ with fans like you Jermaine sure doesn't need enemies.

Froch immediately offered a rematch apparently - with is pretty fair of him I guess.showtime interviewer asked so obviously froch said yes and taylor said yes.
rematch does nothing for froch. taylor is regarded as finished, after that last round beating he took.

Taylor wins.
He knows he can hurt Froch but he also knows that Froch can hurt him.
I see him stay at length and outbox Froch winning a wide UD.

Froch would win on points as Taylor would be in survival mode

Yeah, gotta agree that Froch does him earlier this time. He looked far too nervous in the first 4-6 rounds and Taylor always starts well. They'd both know next time where the power was and this would make Froch looser and a better boxer and Taylor would be hesitant to try and start like he did previously, thus allowing Froch to get them power shots in.
