Colourful, former Victorian cruiserweight champ ‘Machine Gun’ Charlie Arnautovic’s boxing career has again gone into ‘recess’.

Charlie, who at 47 must have been the oldest active pro boxer in Australia, had a career that spanned 1981 (at featherweight) to 2007. It has been punctuated by stints at Her Majesty’s pleasure, and yesterday he received a further 8 to 10 years on drug charges.
