IMO, '92 Bowe beats Foreman........... BUT! That is the ONLY version of Bowe who could do it........... Foreman beats the rest of Bowe at any other time........

Bowe was also solid and deadly in 1991, as well............ He lapsed against Pierre Coetzer on HBO, but he still got the job done........ Bowe was a killer in 1991 / '92....

Bowe wins here. Maybe via late round TKO. The 90's Foreman was a good story, but vastly over rated in the ring.

It said Prime Foreman but either way Bowe gets knocked out. You see what Golota did to him? Why wouldn't Foreman be able to do the same? Bowe best wins came again Holyfield. That is pretty much it for his career. He struggle with Pierre Coetzer who is a very good fighter by the way. Foreman knocked this guy out and Bowe couldt only knock him down with low blows.

I see Bowe stopping Foreman in about 5 rounds.

'92 Bowe vs prime Foreman?
I see that most of the posters have picked Bowe.
Bowe could beat Foreman if he could get through the first 4/5 rounds.
But could he?
That's the question that really needs to be answered here.

prime foreman wins easily over bowe. seems to me the only thing that turns yall on about bowe is his wins against holyfield. other than that he was not as good as foreman in his prime. bowe does win over the resurfaced coming out of retirement george.

I love Foreman..... I do......... But I hated Dick & Sandy Sadler as handlers / trainers..... They were cheerleaders who barked...... Archie Moore was a good choice for Foreman's team all around..... Prime Foreman had the youth and determination, but lacked the proper teaching...... Prime Foreman only knew how to snap a left jab properly.... Everything else was basically amateurish by most standards......
In truth, Foreman at age 41 & 42 actually had the skills and the knowledge of a complete fighter, but he had slowed to a crawl due to age and excessive bulk on his frame...... Still, he was powerful........

Foreman really, really slowed down around and shortly before the Moorer fight. He could actually move fairly well the first few years of his comeback.
Anyway, Bowe was ALWAYS easy to hit. He wasn't nearly impossible to tag cleanly like jimmy Young. And no heavyweight that ever lived could take flush Foreman bombs.

Screw all this bullshit about Bowe facing Foreman... Let's ask a serious question about Bowe.... Does Bowe deserve to be inducted into the IBHOF up in New York? Will he receive enough votes from the fans to get there?? Also, who the hell will do the judging??? I don't want Dan Rafael and Burt Sugar types voting.... Most sportswriters are just professional bullshitters........ Cheers.....

Right because every single fight that Foreman had he gassed out after 5 rounds right? Could you people stop saying that? Give me a freaking break, he got tired throwing wild power punches against Ali. Not only that Ali kept holding him behind his head. Foreman got tired against Young because he didnt come to Puerto Rico 3 weeks in advance like he was ask so he didnt get used to the head. Foremen went 10 rounds twice agianst the highly underrated Peralta and didnt gass out
In any case Bowe would never make it past 4 rounds. As one poster stated Bowe is known for beating Holyfield and that is pretty much it. He did face Pierre Coetzer and punched the guy in the balls. Even a old Foreman would be too much for Bowe. Foreman has shown he was more durable and could take a better punch. Foreman was the harder puncher and stronger accord to Holyfield. There would be nothing Bowe colud do to keep Foreman off him.

Chris ******,
A 1990s foreman does not have a cats chance in hell of beating a 1992 Riddick Bowe. NOT A CHANCE. A 1990s foreman was SHUTOUT by Glass Jaw B level Tommy Morrison and beaten up by one round tyson victim Alex Stewart.

Highly rated? Peralta was nothing but an aging light-heavyweight. How would foreman do against some of the better lighteavyweights in history if he struggles with peralta.

I think based on his fights with Evander Holyfield for the championship, he most likely will go into the HOF. When you have two elite fighters fighting in a memorable series like that, both go to the HOF. Holyfield would have gone in without Bowe, but Bowe not without the Holy fights.

This could be a very exciting fight.
Riddick Bowe was good on the inside because he liked to fight. Bowe wanted to get close to his opponent and let his hands go. Bowe also had a giant heart, see Holyfield III and Golata II for proof. Bowe also got hit a lot.
Foreman is no defensive wizard himself, but has one of the best chins in heavyweight history. Foreman has also never shied away from a slug fest. Foreman is one of the strongest heavyweights ever, and is more powerful than anyone Bowe ever faced.
The only punch Foreman can claim technical supremacy, and it's arguable he can't, is with the jab. Bowe will still hold his own in that department. Bowe can also throw a higher volume of punches in my opinion.
I would expect a battle that would end between 4-6 rounds, with Foreman standing over his opponent that is still crawling after him. I believe Bowe gets hit too often for an opponent as powerful as Foreman, and has too much fight in him to fight otherwise.

70's Foreman wins via mid-round stoppage. 90's Foreman loses a wide-ish decision.

SusieQ Bowe got beat by the "B" Level Golota so what is your point? Morrison was far better than Golota not to mention Morrison ran like a woman from Foreman. Alex Stewart gave Holyfield 2 tought fights but because he took a dive against Tyson that mean he is a bad fighter?
James Tillis was knocked out by Witherspoon in 1 round, Greg Page and Pinklton Thomas knocked him out in 8. Carl Williams, Marvis Frazier and Gerrie Coetzee beat Tillis much easier than Tyson did so based on what you are sahing all of the above fighters are either harder punchers than Tyson or Far better boxers?
I doubt Foreman took Alex Stewart or Tommy Morrison serious. He came in to the ring in poor shape. Against Bowe he would be more serious. Bowe would not run like Morrison and he could not box and move like Morrison. Not to mention Tommy Morrison was the bigger puncher. Tommy Morrison had the balls to get in the ring with Lennox Lewis something Bowe wouldn't do.
As I said Bowe had nothing to keep Foreman off of him. Foreman faced bigger punchers in his comeback neither bothered him. The biggest puncher Bowe faced was Andrew Golota and look what Golota did. Foreman beats Bowe even worse and he wouldnt have to punch him in the balls to do so.
