I know most folks are putting Hatton down this morning, but just how good is Manny P?

I dont think I have ever seen a fighter looking as relaxed and as happy before a fight.

His interview after the fight was very humble. Is there another superstar as grounded as him?

This guy is the perfect ambassador for the sport of boxing. No wonder his country loves him. Boxers around the world should take a few lessons from this guy.

It is kinda tiring in this country getting spoonfed greatness.......

he is a fall of famer who has gone up through the weights with deverstating effects. I am a big fan of his and how froach has improved him.

but he is not perfect as marquez has proved you can out box him

mayweather would out box him if they fought

Pacquiao is a great fighter. I said the modern day Henry Armstrong a few times prior to this, even HBO were saying the same thing, and its being proven correct.

Pacquiao can fight anybody upto welterweight, having started at flyweight.

I don't see any reason why he won't give Mayweather one hell of a fight or even win.

Amazing, he might have the movement and speed to trouble Maywether.

he is a beast

I knew he was going to beat Hatton but didn't expect him to carry his power over!

Great speed of punch and movement, intelligent boxing brain, great coach, a powerful combination.

He's capable of being beaten though - especially if you wack him in the bollocks! No wonder his eyes were crossed.

One of the ATGs.... On a par with Mayweather. They need to fight and if they do i'm there.

We are witnessing greatness. A truly special fighter and imo the greatest fighter of our generation. The speed and power have traveled so well throughout every weight class Pacquiao has fought at. He is a modern day Henry Armstrong without question.

Although he had an easy nights work against Hatton you can't take away the fact that he's just destroyed the best Light Welterweight fighter of the last 5 years in 2 devastating rounds, The man is just awesome!!!

Why do these videos keep getting dragged up? They are about 10 years old for fucks sake, they have no relevance to today. Hatton fans were using this rubbish to try and justify a win...

People need to accept his body has matured, he's not a thin little kid anymore. He's been hit with bodyshots and not been bothered in the least.

For me, im putting him above Mayweather.

I await the slaughtering.

Maybe i am reading into the peoples person thing too much, no matter.

He fights whats in front of him. Floyd is maybe lower ranked for me as he picks and chooses.

Floyd is a GOD no doubting but with PAC i just feel a bit more. As i said, maybe its the humble upbringing etc creeping up on me.

It would be just the same if he lost last night, apart from the "above Floyd" P4P etc

Sincere, Humble, Respectful..........................i could continue

Anyways, not many like him

He has amazing raw materials, that is a given, but the technical improvements he's made are astonishing, he beat Hatton up with right hooks.

His hand speed is incredible, he delivers power shots faster than his opponents jabs.

Morales and Marquez both out-thought the younger, more brash version but he seems to have peaked now and he has versatility and adaptability to face any style.

A special fighter and I think I would lean towards him against Floyd, given Floyd's inactivity.

He has dismantled Oscar and Hatton in way more impressive fashion. The form line isn't quite conclusive as he fought slightly older versions of both men but it's still a rough guide. Neither guy could really land on him and he shellacked both.

It's him or Floyd for fighter of the 00's, they must make that fight happen.

Manny is a fantastic fighter and his resume is superior to Floyd imo.

Hatton, DLH, Barrera x2, JMM, Morales x2

I think Morales deserves respect for being the only man to beat Pacman in the last 10 years (above flyweight). Although the fight ruined Erik in the process.
