1. Vazquez
2. Marquez
3. Ponce De Leon

I don't care much about the rest.

Caballero beat Ponce De Leon.

Maybe you should take notice.

Molitor would beat both Ponce De leon and Caballero IMO. plus i think he stands a good chance against the other two as well.

The truth is, every guy at the top 5 has a chance of being number 1.

Molitor with his boxing skills, though i doubt he has faced the murderous punchers.

Vazquez and Marquez were the leaders of the class, but they are just 1 punch away from getting dethroned. Vulnerable chins.

De leon can take out anyone, but it doesn't take an extremely skilled boxer to beat him though.

lastly, caballero has already beaten de leon, and he's big. but up till now, still fairly unproven when he faces a guy like Marquez.

This shouldnt really have to be asked if you've followed the weight class the past decade. The man at 122 was Erik Morales then he moved up and Bones Adams and Paulie fought the vacant title. Ayala was the man for a while but he never faced Vazquez, Pacquiao, or Larios the top three guys and moved up in and fought Erik Morales. Pac-Man moved up. Larios and Vazquez cleaned up at 122 and fought each other for the vacant title. Vazquez won and defend his title a couple times lost to Marquez and won it back. Vazquez has been top 5 at 122 for almost 7 years.

1-2. Vasquez, Marquez - depends upon the trilogy result.
3. Caballero - only coz he holds [an expired] win against #4
4. PDL - could get #3 with a rematch win. Caballero's performance against Lacierva was totally anemic.
5. Molitor - great skills, but is yet to be seen against the topgunz.

1. Vasquez- Victories over Gonzalez, Larios x2, and Marquez establish him as the man, for the moment. Linear and RING champion.

2. Marquez- Tough to say how much the second Vasquez fight took out of him, but still has the tools to be the top dog at 122lb.

3. Molitor- Ndoluvu was no joke, and the fact that Molitor beat him so easily speaks very highly of his ability. Plus, he's the best pure boxer of the bunch.

4. Cabellero- Has the look of being a vulnerable titleholder, but as the Ponce fight proves, he presents a difficult style match-up for anyone at the weight.

5. Ponce De Leon- Awesome power, but still very flawed, and seems to struggle against top-tier opponents.
